Hexagon s Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division (Hexagon) is seeking a Senior Solution Consultant.
The Senior Solution Consultant Operate Solutions plays a pivotal role within the EMIA Pre-Sales team, reporting directly to the Director of Pre-Sales. This role is focused on driving technical excellence and strategic value across Hexagon s Operate Solutions portfolio, which includes PAS Plant State Integrity, PAS Automation Integrity, J5 Operations Management Solutions, and AKMS.
This position demands a seasoned professional with deep technical expertise and strong business acumen in the domain of industrial asset operations. The primary responsibility is to serve as a trusted technical advisor during pre-sales engagements developing detailed Statements of Work (SOWs), delivering tailored solution demonstrations, and articulating how Hexagon's solutions enhance operational performance, safety, and asset integrity.
The Senior Solution Consultant will work closely with customers, sales, and cross-functional teams to design and deliver technically sound and value-driven solutions that address complex operational challenges. A hands-on approach and the ability to translate customer needs into actionable, outcome-oriented proposals is essential.
In addition to pre-sales responsibilities, this role will lead knowledge-sharing initiatives, including the design and delivery of targeted training sessions for internal sales, pre-sales, and marketing teams enabling them to effectively position and communicate the value of Operate Solutions.
This role requires a unique combination of technical proficiency, industry insight, solution storytelling, and customer engagement skills to support Hexagon s mission of advancing operational excellence and asset lifecycle management.

Education / Qualifications
Minimum:
- Implementation experience with one or more of Hexagon Operate Solutions (PAS Plant State Integrity, PAS Automation Integrity, J5, AKMS), and working knowledge of HxGN SDx is a plus.
- Proven skills in solution design, estimations, requirements gathering, and delivering technical demonstrations for complex industrial environments.
- Ability to engage confidently with enterprise IT teams, including system architecture planning, integration, and deployment.
- Strong communication, cross-functional collaboration, and time management skills, with a commitment to continuous learning.
- Willingness to travel regionally; fluent in English (Arabic is a strong advantage).
Preferred:
- Certifications relevant to Operate phase, such as T V Functional Safety or ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity (Operator-focused OT security standards).
- Working knowledge of DCS, SIS, PLCs, and hands-on experience with OT environments like SCADA and control systems.
- Deep understanding of Operations & Maintenance processes (e.g., alarm management, rounds, shift logs, incident management).
- Experience in solution leadership and consultancy, including proposal support, Go-To-Market alignment, and engaging with senior customer stakeholders.
- Familiarity with brownfield operational environments, industrial software delivery, and digital solutions for asset performance and safety.
Educational and Technical requirements:
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Practical understanding of ISA 18.2 / IEC 62682 (Alarm Management) and ISA/IEC 62443 (Cybersecurity for OT environments).
- Knowledge of relevant communication protocols: OPC AE/DA, HART, Foundation Fieldbus, Profibus, DNP3.
- Familiarity with DCS platforms (e.g., Yokogawa Centum VP) and tools like MS SQL, Python, Power BI, MS Office Suite.
- Awareness of cloud and enterprise IT environments (Azure, AWS), and integration technologies used in industrial digital transformation.

Role Summary:
The Solution Value Consultant plays a pivotal role in bridging business strategy with technical execution across pre-sales, business development, and delivery for large-scale industrial digital transformation initiatives in oil & gas, petro-chemicals, or industrial manufacturing industries.
This includes FEED studies, architecture design, system integration (OT, iMOMS, MES, SAP), and executive engagement.
The consultant brings clarity to complexity, driving value creation and ensuring ROI through collaborative workshops, strategic advisory, and implementation support in order to drive business growth of Plant.Digital.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Strategic Navigator: Aligns digital transformation objectives with client business goals, crafting value propositions and business cases to maximize ROI.
- Business and Technical Orchestrator: Designs scalable architectures across OT and IT ecosystems (MES, SAP, iMOMS), integrating legacy systems and emerging technologies according to business requirements.
- Business Development Catalyst: Identifies new opportunities through market sensing and client intelligence, fueling growth across industrial digital platforms.
- Pre-Sales Maestro: Leads technical and commercial proposal development, solution qualification, and FEED studies to secure enterprise engagements.
- Risk Architect: Conducts proactive risk analysis and mitigation planning across technical, organizational, and operational dimensions.
- Stakeholder Whisperer: Engages cross-functional teams and executives in workshops and operational meetings, translating complexity into actionable roadmaps.
- Delivery Anchor: Supports implementation, ensuring alignment between design intent and real-world execution, troubleshooting delivery challenges in-flight.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical, chemical) or Industrial Automation.
- Experience: 8+ Years in Pre-Sales, Business Development, or Solution Delivery in OT/MES/SAP/iMOMS Ecosystems in the oil & gas, petro-chemicals, or industrial manufacturing industry.
- Skills:
- Strong communication, negotiation, strategic planning and teamwork skills,
- Profound understanding of a services business model,
- Deep Understanding of Industrial Business Challenges and Digital Platforms (e.g., iMOMS, MES, SAP),
- Strong Capability in FEED Studies, Risk Mitigation, and Value Case Development,
- Proven Stakeholder Engagement Across CXO and Operational levels.
- Work experience in services organizations preferably consulting or SW technology vendors.

Overview
A Technical Consultant will work directly with customers to define and implement advanced ArcGIS enterprise systems through Professional Services engagement activities. A Technical Consultant will work closely with Esri customers, distributors, and partners to establish solutions to make customers successful, broaden the effect of Esri technology to their business and help shape the evolution of Esri products by identifying new implementation patterns. In addition, a Technical Consultant will participate in and serve the Esri community with a diverse scope of platform configurations and projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage a complex and diverse technical scope of Professional Services engagements, projects, and programs
- Lead and provide technical direction for internal Professional Services teams during all phases of ArcGIS implementation including requirements, analysis, design, build/configuration, and deployment
- Design and implement innovative and impactful ArcGIS platform-based strategies and solutions to meet unique and complex Professional Services customer requirements
- Work closely with the customer IT team to implement and deploy Esri systems
- Support proposals with technical vision and labor estimates
- Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience and other technical staff
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in GIS project technical management and/or GIS technical consultancy
- Hands-on experience with Esri Software
- Demonstrated experience in platform architecture, solution design, project envisioning, planning, developing, and deployment
- Knowledge of integration of other enterprise systems
- Knowledge of geospatial and mapping concepts such as spatial analysis, map projections, and more
- Experience with current technology implementation patterns including service-oriented architectures
- Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas to customers, executives, other technical staff or non-technical staff
- Proven ability to design, implement, and/or administer enterprise GIS solutions/systems that leverage Esri software products
- Evaluate and translate customer's business goals, objectives, and strategies into technical and creative plans and solutions
- Understanding of IT concepts such as databases, networking, security, integration, and more
- Engage, collaborate, and facilitate with customers, internal and external teams, and stakeholders
- Assist in preparing proposals, including preparing solution definition, scope of services, staffing, and pricing
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or related STEM field
- Fluent in writing, reading and speaking in English
Recommended Qualifications
- Knowledge of and experience with software engineering and/or robust application development principles and practices
- Master's in Computer Science, Mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or related STEM field
- Fluent in writing, reading and speaking in Arabic

This position is for individuals who possess the ability to identify multiple solutions to the same problem and can help in decision making while working in a super-agile environment. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Understand and document the customer infrastructure
- Create the architecture diagram of the setup of Seclore in customer infrastructure
- Handle multiple technical deployments at the same time with varying degrees of complexities
- Achieve an understanding of Seclore products and gain expertise
- Responsible for technical implementation and upgrade of Seclore product
- Handle technical conversations with the client’s IT team
- Understand and learn the new concepts that customers will introduce
- Understand the processes at the customer end as far as technical implementation is concerned
- Perform testing of new features before upgrading in the production environment
- Work with the support and engineering team with assorted expertise
- Multitask and work well in a fast-paced environment
- Train users in IT systems
Skills and Competencies:
- Ability to understand and interpret the complex architecture of the client’s environment and create design and architecture documents for implementation of Seclore product
