We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Engineer – Technical Architecture to oversee the design, development, and implementation of comprehensive technical solutions across complex projects. The ideal candidate will provide strategic technical direction, lead cross-functional design efforts, and ensure that engineering and architectural standards are met to deliver high-quality, sustainable, and scalable infrastructure or systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the development and implementation of technical architecture frameworks and engineering strategies across projects.
- Translate business, functional, and technical requirements into well-architected and integrated solutions.
- Oversee architectural design reviews and ensure alignment with project objectives, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering, construction, and operations teams to optimize design and performance.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and design staff.
- Ensure integration between different engineering disciplines (civil, structural, electrical, mechanical, etc.) for cohesive project delivery.
- Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Identify and resolve technical issues and design challenges early in the project lifecycle.
- Manage risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies related to technical architecture.
- Maintain documentation of architectural decisions and technical specifications.
- Support procurement and subcontracting processes by providing technical input and reviewing deliverables.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in engineering design and architecture.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant discipline); Master's degree preferred.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or chartered status is an advantage.
- Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in engineering design and technical architecture roles.
- Proven experience in leading technical teams and large-scale infrastructure or industrial projects.
- Strong knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Proficient in using engineering software and BIM tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, STAAD, etc.).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication, leadership, and project management capabilities.
