About The Role
We are looking for an FP&A Analyst – SOCPA Registered to join our Finance team. In this role, you will combine a strong accounting foundation with forward-looking financial analysis. You will play a key part in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and performance tracking , while also providing insights that support data-driven strategic decisions .
As part of a fast-growing AI company in Saudi Arabia, you will work closely with business leaders and cross-functional teams to deliver financial intelligence that drives growth and efficiency. This position is ideal for a SOCPA-registered professional who wants to leverage their accounting expertise while growing into a more analytical, business-partnering capacity .
What You'll Do
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including accounting, operations, and sales, to gather relevant data and insights.
- Provide financial analysis and support for special projects and initiatives as requested by senior manage-ment.
- Manage and control the internal approval process for both budget submissions and actual consumption within the FP&A team, ensuring full alignment with budget limits before requests are escalated to the pro-curement team.
- Ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines and company policies.
- Engage in the annual budgeting process, collaborating with various departments to set realistic financial targets.
- Engage in the preparation of the detailed budget documentation and facilitate budget presentations to stakeholders.
- Maintain the rolling forecasts to predict future financial performance based on historical data and market trends.
- Regularly update forecasts to reflect changes in business operations or economic conditions.
- Perform variance analysis to compare actual results against budgeted and forecasted figures, identifying trends and anomalies.
- Conduct profitability analysis on products, services, and business segments to support strategic decision-making.
- Prepare timely and accurate financial reports for management, highlighting key insights and trends.
- Develop dashboards and visualizations to effectively communicate financial performance and metrics using different BI tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or any related field.
- 3- 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- SOCPA registration required.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and financial software (e.g., ERP systems, BI tools)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Proficient in conducting and presenting research results.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrates integrity and professionalism.
- CMA, CFA, AFM, or FMVA certifications are preferred

Job Summary :
The Accounting Specialist plays a critical role in managing and reconciling all sales-related financial transactions and ensuring accurate cash handling procedures. This position is responsible for recording sales revenue, managing cash receipts and disbursements, performing daily reconciliations, and contributing to the overall financial integrity of the company, with a particular focus on revenue streams and liquid assets.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage the accounting operations related to sales and cash management.
- Accurately record daily sales transactions, discounts, and returns in the accounting system.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations for sales, cash, and bank accounts.
- Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Prepare financial reports on sales performance and cash balances for management.
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and suppliers to resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS standards and local tax regulations (VAT).
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Leadership Provide guidance and support to team members in accounting-related tasks.
- Foster a culture of accuracy, integrity, and accountability within the finance team.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement efficient solutions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance communication and workflow between departments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 2–4 years of experience in accounting, with a strong focus on sales accounting and cash management (experience in hospitality or F&B is preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Xero).
- Strong knowledge of POS systems and experience in data extraction and reconciliation.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
- Familiarity with IFRS standards and local tax regulations (VAT).

This role supports the organization’s financial integrity by managing core accounting functions and collaborating with cross-functional teams including operations, treasury, and audit. You will engage with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, and with external entities such as banks and fiscal authorities to maintain smooth financial operations. Accounts Payable & Expense Management
- Oversee the accounts payable process, including reviewing and verifying invoices, coding expenses, and ensuring timely and accurate posting.
Banking & Treasury Support
- Manage bank accounts and cash balances, including bank reconciliations and monitoring cash flow.
- Prepare cash position and cash forecast reports to support treasury planning and decision-making.
- Handle relationships with banks and fiscal authorities.
Fixed Assets Management
- Maintain accurate records of fixed assets including acquisition, depreciation, and disposal.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to conduct periodic physical asset verification.
- Prepare fixed asset-related reports.
Inventory Accounting
- Record and post inventory transactions, including purchases and adjustments.
- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure accurate inventory valuation.
Financial Reporting & Audit Support
- Assist the Chief Accountant in preparing financial statements and report analysis.
- Participate in month-end closing processes.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Language: Fluent in English and Arabic
