Prince Sultan Air Base (PSAB) – Power Plant Shift Lead (Saudi Arabia)

Versar Global Solutions is currently looking for qualified candidates to fill positions for Power Plant Shift Lead on Prince Sultan Air Base in Al Kharj, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in support of the Power Production Services and Engineering Design Assistance and Construction Management program. Join our team and grow with us as we provide best-in-class services that help Customers solve their most complex challenges.
Your Impact
- The shift lead will have knowledge of: Principles of electronics and electricity including generation, conversion, transformation, distribution, and utilization; types, capacity, and purpose of low/medium voltage circuits, circuit breakers, switches, fuses, regulators, relays, instruments, and meters associated with electric generation and distribution; interpreting instrument and meter readings; wiring diagrams, schematics, drawings and technical publications; techniques of operating and maintaining internal combustion engines, generators, generating plants, distribution panels, and accessory equipment; use and purpose of test equipment; safety rules and practices; environmental policies; principles of management; and operation and repair of electrical power production systems.
- This discipline is responsible for continuous power production and supervision of power production technicians during their shift.
- This discipline attends meetings as required for projects or investigative/project development tasking.
- This discipline will be responsible for writing documents as needs are identified by the Government
- This discipline will follow all VGS standard policies and practices.
Required Qualifications
- Must have computer skills and be able to operate a variety of computer programs.
- Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license from their home country with validity for 12 months from on-site employment date
- Must maintain a valid passport from their home country with validity for 12 months from on-site employment date. Passport must have a minimum of 6 blank pages prior to OCONUS mobilization.
- Must satisfy the pre-deployment medical requirements for CENTCOM prior to OCONUS mobilization and must be able to maintain a Medically Qualified (MQ) rating on an annual basis.
- Must be CAC eligible and able to gain and maintain authorized entry onto US military installations.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience
- Experience operating and maintaining generators up to 2.5 MW is preferred
- Formalized training in Power Generation or OEM training in Power Plant components preferred
- Proactive nature and strong interpersonal skills in collaborating, communicating, and working with (1) Other senior managers and staff (to include Site management team), (2) Local and International subcontractors; (3) US Military representatives; and (4) Local officials as required.
- Duties may involve work outdoors with a potential exposure to desert climatic conditions
- Scheduled work hours up to 72 hours per week
- Must currently possess, or be eligible for, a SECRET clearance

Payments & Transaction Operations
- Manage and monitor all daily wallet transactions including P2P transfers, top-ups, withdrawals, cashback, and merchant payments.
- Validate transaction flows across local schemes (Mada, Jaywan, SADAD, etc.) and international schemes (Visa, Mastercard).
- Experience in dealing with the schemes and their systems (like Mastercard Connect and Visaonline)
- Manage settlement, clearing files, and related reconciliations to ensure data integrity and financial accuracy.
- Work closely with the Finance and Treasury teams for accurate accounting and timely settlement of transactions.
- Ensure timely processing of scheme and vendor invoices; liaise with Finance for payment execution.

Reconciliation & Dispute Resolution
- Lead the reconciliation process across all wallet transactions, scheme reports, vendor reports, and internal systems
- Manage chargeback workflows for Mada, Visa, and Mastercard: initiation, documentation, resolution, and reporting.
- Analyze exception cases and reconciliation gaps; implement corrective actions to mitigate financial and reputational risks.
- Approve and process manual refunds and adjustments, ensuring SLA compliance and audit trails.
Card Lifecycle & Vendor Management
- Oversee the full lifecycle of prepaid and debit cards: issuance, activation, transaction monitoring, expiry, and reissuance.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for card program vendors, payment processors, Saudi Payments, and scheme representatives.
- Monitor SLAs and KPIs for all operational vendors; initiate corrective action in case of deviations.
Chargeback Management
- Validate, raise and track chargeback cases for both Local Schemes and MasterCard/Visa .
- Approve eligible manual refunds and ensure SLA adherence.
Operational Governance & Reporting
- Maintain operational dashboards and generate regular reports on transactions, chargebacks, SLA compliance, and risk indicators.
- Identify process inefficiencies and work with Product & Tech to automate and improve operations.
- Track operational KPIs, root causes of failures, and lead initiatives for continuous improvement.
Customer Support & Complaint Resolution
- Investigate first-level inquiries and complaints.
- Act as a point of escalation for customer support teams handling wallet-related complaints and technical escalations.
- Investigate operational issues reported by users or partners and ensure timely and accurate resolution.
Handle issue reporting and resolution across various partners.
Ensure all operational activities follow internal policies and regulatory frameworks
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations, or related field.
- 4–6 years of experience in payments, fintech, banking, or wallet operations.

Conducts comprehensive AH6i aircraft maintenance tasks, adhering to specific guidelines outlined in the OEM Operators Manual, Maintenance Test Flight Manual, Check List Manual, and other relevant directives. Tasks include removing and installing various aircraft systems and subsystem assemblies such as engines, rotors, gearboxes, transmissions, and mechanical flight controls. Additionally, services and lubricates aircraft systems, prepares aircraft for inspections and maintenance checks, and performs both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance actions. Utilizes common measuring tools, precision measuring gauges, and alignment fixtures. Conducts routine and special inspections on aircraft and related components, along with maintenance operational checks. Diagnoses and troubleshoots aircraft subsystems using specialized tools and equipment. Performs operator maintenance on tools, special tools, and Aircraft Ground Support Equipment (AGSE), and meticulously prepares aircraft maintenance forms and records. Takes charge of developing and executing phase plans from Pre-Dock to Post Test flight, ensuring all related operations prioritize safety.
During the 1st Shift, efficiently conducts AH6i aircraft maintenance tasks, including removing and installing various components, performing inspections, and ensuring operational checks, all in strict adherence to safety protocols and industry standards.
Responsibilities
+ Ensures that AH-6i Aircraft maintenance functional activities and procedures among designated organizations are planned, coordinated, integrated, and synchronized to achieve established platform operational readiness objectives.
+ Responsible for the compliance with established maintenance systems, processes, procedures and reports that provide immediate situational awareness of platform readiness rates.
+ Establishes daily maintenance operational goals, objectives and priorities for implementation in-order to achieve stated readiness rates and MNG training objectives as required.
+ Oversees the daily maintenance management of individually assigned aircraft in support of the Production Control (PC) Manager.
+ Works within the maintenance quality control processes, procedures, and standards.
+ Directs inquires, investigations, and research analysis related to aviation maintenance of AH-6i Aircraft and supporting maintenance activities to the PC Manager.
+ Supervises individuals as assigned.
+ Ensures all maintenance operations and related maintenance support activities are conducted in a safe manner.
+ In coordination with the Aviation Manager, supports the Downed Aircraft Recovery Team (DART) processes and procedures.
+ Other duties as assigned and or directed by management.
+ Performs within the broad guidelines of duties and responsibilities with significant choice of methods.
+ Authority to select and implement goals and objectives within the execution of duties and responsibilities.
Qualifications
+ Education: High school diploma required.
+ Bachelor's Degree preferred.
+ AH-6i, MD-500 series, MH-6, AH-64 and ten (10) years' experience desired.
+ Note: Post hire AH-6i familiarization course will be required if applicant is not an A&P, AH-6i, MD500 series, MH-6, OH-58 or AH-64 qualified mechanic.
+ Recent aircraft mechanic experience.
+ FAA A&P certificate.
+ Aviation Technical Inspector (TI) experience.
+ FAA IA certificate.
+ Strong knowledge of military logistics procedures and regulations.
+ Experience Requirements:
+ Qualified by a USG armed forces Rotary Wing aircraft mechanic maintenance course or civilian equivalent and five (5) years' experience.
+ Specific Knowledge, Skills, Certifications, and Ability Requirements:
+ Graduate of a US Military aviation maintainers course or civilian equivalent training.
+ Demonstrated past performance and experience in maintenance on MD-530, AH-64, or OH-58D Aircraft.
+ Proficient in the use of computer-hosted interactive technical manuals, aircraft maintenance forms, and other aircraft related documentation.
+ Proficient in MS Office software.
+ Professional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
+ Ability to effectively communicate with the customer in a professional and courteous manner.
+ Possess a valid US issued driver's license and passport.
+ Successfully pass an overseas deployment physical upon hire.
