A Forescout Professional Services Engineer (PSE) provides technical and consultative services to their assigned accounts to drive the adoption and maturation of the customers’ Forescout deployments. The post sales engineer must be able to solve technical and process challenges to ensure customer success. Job Summary:

Estarta, in partnership with Fortinet, is looking for a highly skilled
SOC Engineer
to join our Professional Services team. The selected candidate will be based onsite at one of Fortinet's client sites and will play a key role in enhancing the client's security posture. This position requires hands-on expertise with SIEM, SOAR, and Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) platforms. The SOC Engineer will focus on monitoring, detecting, responding to, and automating security operations to strengthen incident response and threat detection capabilities in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and manage
    SIEM solutions
    (e.g., FortiSIEM, Splunk, QRadar).
  • Develop and optimize
    correlation rules, dashboards, and alerts
    .
  • Build and manage
    SOAR playbooks
    to automate incident response activities.
  • Integrate SOAR with EDR platforms, ticketing systems, threat intelligence feeds, and other security tools.
  • Monitor and respond to alerts from
    EDR solutions
    (e.g., FortiEDR, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne).
  • Conduct
    threat hunting
    and advanced investigations using indicators of compromise (IOCs).
  • Collaborate with SOC analysts, incident responders, and IT teams to contain and remediate threats.
  • Document
    playbooks, procedures, and detection logic
    for operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to the
    overall security strategy
    , enhancing detection coverage and response effectiveness.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years
    of experience in cybersecurity operations or engineering roles.
  • Strong expertise with
    SIEM platforms
    (FortiSIEM, Splunk, QRadar).
  • Hands-on experience with
    SOAR tools
    (FortiSOAR, Cortex XSOAR, Tines).
  • Familiarity with
    EDR platforms
    (FortiEDR, CrowdStrike, Carbon Black, Defender for Endpoint).
  • Solid understanding of
    MITRE ATT&CK framework, threat intelligence, and IOC correlation
    .
  • Experience in writing
    detection rules
    (regex, KQL, or custom queries).
  • Basic scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation.
  • Strong
    problem-solving skills
    , attention to detail, and analytical mindset.
  • Excellent
    communication and collaboration skills
    .

The Professional Services Consultant is an integral part of the services organization and a customer-facing representative of the company. The consultant is responsible for ensuring that the company's products are implemented within a customer's organization in such a way as to meet or exceed a customer's reasonable expectations of the solution's technical and business benefits.

The Professional Services Consultant's role requires a hard-working and enthusiastic person with strong technical and communication skills who is able to establish and maintain trusted technical advisor status. The ability to travel to and work from a customer's own office or site is essential as and when required.

  • Maintain sufficient technical capability and current best practice knowledge to be able to implement and operate all of Nexthink's products at an advanced level of competency during a project implementation.
  • Install and configure Nexthink in line with the agreed solution design and prepare all relevant technical project deliverables.
  • Implement all technical aspects of service delivery to the required standard of quality.
  • Educate and empower Nexthink customers to take full advantage of the solution so that it is fully adopted.
  • Understand customer requirements to be able to advise and implement a relevant Nexthink solution in line with industry best practices.
  • Be committed to customer satisfaction and referenceability.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams (sales, pre-sales, support, product management) and Nexthink partners
  • Seek to continuously improve relevant technical knowledge and skills
  • Contribute to our community forums by posting and publishing articles.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a software consulting role.
  • Good troubleshooting skills and technical knowledge of IT operations and ITIL,
  • Exposure to Digital Transformation projects, preferably End-User related,
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows clients and applications, MacOS is a plus
  • Desired experience with Cloud deployments (e.g. Architecture, Security (SSO), API's),
  • General awareness of the current industry standards and regulations (e.g. ISO27k, PCI-DSS, GDRP, NIST),
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies in an unsupervised environment,
  • Excellent communication, customer-facing and teamwork skills,
  • Enthusiasm for working in an international, collaborative and fast-paced environment and learning new technologies.
  • Business-level fluency in Arabic and English is required for customer-facing communication and collaboration.
