Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Technician, located on-site in the Makkah Region. The Technician will be responsible for operating and maintaining 3D printers, laser cutters, and other fabrication equipment. Daily tasks will include setting up machines for various projects, performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently. The Technician will also collaborate with the design and engineering teams to ensure that final products meet specified standards.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Hands on work experience E&C of 230 & 380 KV substation. Knowledge of electrical systems of electrical switchgears equipment's.
• Knowledge of GIS & AIS switch gears, Electrical panels, MCC, electrical distributions system
• Perform troubling shooting and repair of Electrical substations trouble shooting etc.
• Understanding and executing the repairing & preventive maintenance.
• Able to read the electrical and mechanical drawings and diagnosis the issues in equipment.
• Perform scheduled of preventative maintenance of substations.
• Maintaining back-office reporting, test reports and maintaining customer documentations at site.
• Consultation, Co-coordination with OEM for unsolved repair problems.
• Provide technical assistance as needed for the installation or pre-arrangement of projects.
• Performed all duties as part of a team or as site lead to allocate the responsibilities to site team.
• Participate in Safety, Quality, and Productivity Continuous Improvement
• Understanding of safety importance at site Perform LOTO operations.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent certification
• Minimum 2 to 3 years onsite working in Electrical Fields
• Experience E&C of 230 & 380 KV substation.
• Knowledge of electrical systems of electrical switchgears equipment's

• Must be willing to move within Saudi Arabia as per the Business Requirements

Position Overview

The Technician/Rigger – Tower Erection & Civil Works supports both telecommunications tower assembly and the foundational or site-prep civil tasks necessary to deploy tower infrastructure. This hands-on role involves working from ground-level civil tasks up to high-altitude rigging and installation—and requires strict adherence to safety standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesA. Tower Erection & Rigging Duties

• Climb towers, poles, or masts to install, orient, and secure telecom equipment—antennas, RRUs, AAUs, feeder systems, and grounding kits—accurately setting azimuth, tilt, and height per RF plans
• Engage in rigging operations using winches, pulleys, cat‑heads, and capstan systems to hoist and position heavy components
• Inspect towers, feeders, connectors, lighting, and structural elements. Propose corrections or replacements for damage, corrosion, or misalignment
• Troubleshoot signal and equipment issues (e.g., VSWR, RET systems, tower lighting, GPS alignment) and assist in interference or acceptance testing as required
• Follow and contribute to rigging plans and standard methods of procedure (MOPs), job safety analyses (JSAs), and comply with all safety protocols (OSHA, RF, height safety) .
• Maintain accurate records of installations, inventory, maintenance, and field observations—reporting back to RF engineers and project leads

B. Civil/Site-Prep and Foundation Work

• Assist with the erection and reinforcement of structural foundations: tower base, guy-anchor systems, and any necessary steel or concrete forms (e.g., anchor bolts, leveling, structural alignment)
• Execute groundwork tasks including excavation, material layout, scaffold installation, anchoring, and placement of bolted or welded components per engineering or construction plans
• Interpret foundation and structural blueprints or technical plans; assist with layout measurements and physical alignment using rigging tools like pulleys, cranes, and hand or power tools
• Support cable trenching, feeder routing, and civil-grade grounding setups to integrate tower equipment to network infrastructure.

Qualifications & RequirementsTechnical & Safety Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma in engineering, civil construction, or telecom preferred
• Minimum 3–5 years of combined experience in tower erection and rigging, plus civil foundation or site construction work
• Certifications in: Authorized/Competent Climber, Rescue, OSHA 10/30, RF Awareness, First Aid/CPR, and rigging per ANSI/ASME or local standards
• Ability to read construction blueprints, site civil drawings, and technical specs to guide installation and civil tasks.
