What You Bring

Desired Candidate Profile

This position requires relocation to Saudi Arabia for 12 months.
We are seeking a highly capable Data Scientist with expertise in machine learning and GenAI to solve high-impact, telco-specific business problems. The ideal candidate will design and implement AI models using customer usage, location, and billing data, while ensuring that insights are actionable and integrated into operational workflows.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement AI/ML models tailored to telecom use cases such as churn prediction, usage forecasting, customer segmentation, and fraud detection.
- Extract, engineer, and select relevant features from structured and unstructured data sources including mobile usage, location, and billing data .
- Develop and deploy automated pipelines for model training, retraining, monitoring, and performance evaluation in production environments.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, CVM teams, and data engineers to operationalize models and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Apply Generative AI techniques where appropriate to improve campaign personalization, chatbots, or other customer engagement tools.
- Continuously monitor and improve model performance using feedback loops and business KPIs.
- Document models, code, and experiments for reproducibility and governance.
- 5–6 years of experience in machine learning , data science , and production-grade model development .
- Hands-on experience with Python , Scikit-learn , TensorFlow , PyTorch , or similar ML frameworks .
- Solid understanding of model lifecycle , ML Ops , and tools like Airflow , MLflow , or Kubeflow .
- Experience working with large-scale telco datasets , including CDRs, billing systems, and network data.
- Strong in feature engineering , data preprocessing , and model evaluation techniques.
- Exposure to Generative AI (GenAI) models and applications (e.g., GPT, BERT, diffusion models) is required.
- Knowledge of SQL , Spark , or Hadoop environments is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related discipline (Master’s preferred).
- Prior experience in a telecom or digital services environment.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

The role of a Data Scientist at Dataiku is quite unique. In this role you'll help the team:- Co-develop production-level data science projects with our customers
- Analyze and investigate various kinds of data and machine learning applications across industries and use cases
- Help users discover and master the Dataiku platform via user training, office hours, and ongoing consultative support
- Provide data science expertise both to customers and internally to Dataiku’s sales and marketing teams
- Develop custom Python-based “plugins” in collaboration with Solutions, R&D, and Product teams, to enhance Dataiku’s functionality
- English - fluent; Arabic fluent is a big plus
