Principal consultants work closely with colleagues to deliver complex, customized and multi work-stream solutions that meet and exceed client expectations. At this level, business development and client relationship management feature as an important focus of the role in addition to delivery. The Role

The role is known both internally and externally as either Lead Technical Architect (LTA) or Solution Architect or Principal Technical Consultant. Responsibilities

Provide Overall engineering solutions, analysis, specifications, and procurement support for the infra projects.

Manage Opportunity & Risk on the project.

Aave a good knowledge of the contract and key clauses.

Manage deliverables and provide the technical support to the team.

Prepare time schedules, resource plan and assist in preparation of budgets.

Lead bids/prospects, developing techno-commercial offers in liaison with internal and external parties.

Manage projects execution till final delivery with NOC's,

Monitor and control budget, invoices.

Manage Engineers and CAD team and provide tech support.

Design High Voltage, Medium voltage, Low Voltage, Street Lighting and Telecom networks for infrastructure, urban plan, roads, tunnels projects.

Carry out Grounding, lightning protection, cable containments and shielding,

Undertake the load flow analysis, short circuit, protection schemes, grounding system calculations.

Produce reports, drawings, calculations and presentations.

Attend meetings with authorities regarding utility design proposals.

Aware of local authorities regulations in gulf region.

Advise and present engineering solutions to clients and stakeholders.

Familiar with Dialux, Amtech, ETAP, AutoCAD, Civil3D, Navisworks and Microsoft office to produce my deliverables.

Follow the QA/QC in compliance with the requirement of the projects.

Organize &Attend progress meetings/communications with contractors, consultants and authorities.

Minimize end users comments and hence ensure clients satisfaction and quality of deliverables.

Ensure that the Design meets all relevant Codes and Standards.

Review of Contractor shop drawings and materials submittals.

Qualifications

BEng /BSc (Hon) or equivalent discipline with minimum 12 years post graduate experience, C.Eng & PMP are an advantage.

Member of/working towards associated Professional body membership.

Modelling of power and lighting networks.

Detailed design of engineering solutions.

Good report writing skills.

Compiling authority approval documentation in accordance with local authority standards to obtain approvals.

Excellent speaking and writing communication skills in English.

  • Understand and communicate the role of third-party partners and channels in delivering solutions.
Requirements
  • Typically requires 5+ years of related experience in a relationship-selling role with a Bachelor's degree.
  • Broad knowledge across multiple or related industries with strong business acumen.
  • Ability to leverage internal teams to support selling and customer care processes in enterprise/client environments.
  • Strong understanding of how client products and services integrate with enterprise solutions.
  • Stay current with industry trends, customer impacts, and implications for solutions

Job Description
As a Principal Consultant in our Advisory unit, you will have the opportunity to work on high-profile infrastructure, real estate, or natural resources projects for both private and public clients in the Middle East (KSA). You will support the team in delivering business transformation and advisory services, focusing on digital controls and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the programmes for all controls & reporting functions ensuring that issues within the programme are highlighted and understood.
  • Review current reporting practices and outputs, suggest and implement improvements.
  • Produce progress reports showing variance against the baselines.
  • Deliver Period Programme Updates and input to project reports.
  • Coordinate between Clients and their Partners', consultants' and contractors' programmes of works and compliance with the Project Programme. Reporting areas of 'non-compliance' for resolution.
  • As appropriate and required, provide planning support to the bidding team to do all the activities necessary to submit the bidding documentations in time.

Qualifications

  • Advanced Power BI skills and experience required.
  • BSc Degree in the relevant field is preferred.
  • Minimum years' post graduate experience is required.
  • Regional experience with professional consultancy is necessary.
  • Advanced Knowledge and Proficiency with multiple discipline specific software applications such as Primavera (P6) and/or other planning and resourcing software.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Professional working knowledge of project management and Planning software and tools.
