Job Description: Design & Drafting Engineer / CAD Professional

We are seeking a skilled professional to support engineering projects by preparing, updating, and finalizing design drawings and IFC (Issued for Construction) packages in compliance with major company standards (e.g., Aramco, SEC).

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and update engineering drawings and IFC packages according to project requirements and standards.
2. Develop and revise electrical, mechanical, and civil drawings as needed for substations, utilities, and related projects.
3. Convert raster/PDF drawings into editable vector formats using CAD tools (e.g., MicroStation, AutoCAD).
4. Incorporate fire protection design requirements into engineering packages (battery life calculations, cause-and-effect matrix, riser diagrams, wiring details, etc.).
5. Ensure drawing accuracy, clarity, and compliance with applicable standards.
6. Coordinate with project teams to reflect design changes in updated drawings.
7. Issue final as-built drawings upon completion of projects.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma holder with 5+ years of design/drafting experience or Bachelor's degree with 3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong proficiency in CAD software (MicroStation, AutoCAD or equivalent).
• Knowledge of fire protection design is a strong plus.
• Experience in projects with major companies such as Aramco or SEC is preferred.
