Position Overview

Tencent Cloud Middle East is looking for a cybersecurity function head based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The role is expected to direct cybersecurity work within Tencent Cloud Middle East, establish vision and direction for its cybersecurity and related strategies, resources and activities and manage the security of information systems and functions.

Job Responsibilities

• Work with Tencent Cloud's security and compliance teams to develop and implement effective security processes and measures to meet strategic cybersecurity goals.
• Continuously and appropriately identify, communicate and manage cyber risks through the organization's risk governance processes.
• Properly organize response to mitigate the risk in the event of a cybersecurity incident.
• Periodically review cybersecurity and privacy strategies, policies and related documents to maintain compliance with applicable legislation and regulation.
• Promote and demonstrate the abilities and values of Tencent Cloud's cybersecurity to various kinds of internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in the field of data security, privacy protection, or compliance auditing.
• Solid experience in establishing corresponding solutions in alignment with the organization's actual risk levels and cybersecurity strategies.
• Solid experience in dealing with cybersecurity-related threats and vulnerabilities, including identification, response, and disposal.
• Be familiar with security technologies and solutions in the filed of cloud services, information security and data privacy.
• Be familiar with the laws and regulations related to information security and privacy protection in Saudi Arabia, as well as international data and security-related industry standards and best practices such as ISO27001 and PCI DSS.

General Scope:

As a Cyber Security Officer, you will report directly to the ASSYSTEM Middle East & Central Asia (MECA) Managing Director and functionally to the ASSYSTEM Group Information Security Director, ensuring seamless communication, coordination and execution of Information Security initiatives within the Business Area. You will be working closely with the local IT team to support the implementation of the Group Information Security roadmap and Management System (ISMS) within your Business Area, assisting with ensuring compliance with the ASSYSTEM group rules and local regulations.

1. Implementation Support: Assist in the deployment of the Information Security roadmap, ensuring alignment with the objectives of the ASSYSTEM group and supporting senior staff in executing security initiatives.
2. Compliance Assurance: Support monitoring of adherence to ASSYSTEM group rules and local regulations and assist in regular assessments to identify and address any compliance gaps.
3. Risk Management: Assist in identifying potential security risks within the Business Area and support in implementing controls and measures to mitigate risks and protect data.
4. Incident Management: Support the management of Information Security incidents, helping the team in conducting root cause analysis and supporting corrective actions to resolve issues.
5. Tendering and Project Support: Assist project managers and business units in the tendering process, ensuring information security considerations are included in the project planning and execution phases.
6. Training and Awareness: Help in organizing and delivering basic Information Security training and awareness sessions to employees, fostering a culture of security within the organization.
7. Audit and Surveillance: Support in the planning and conducting of Information Security audits within the Business Area, assisting with surveillance and monitoring activities to ensure ongoing compliance.

As a Cyber Security Officer, you will work closely with the local IT staff and various project teams to help ensure the effective implementation of security measures.

1. Knowledge of Information Security Principles: Basic understanding of Information Security best practices and principles.
2. Familiarity with Security Management Systems: Exposure to security management frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or similar.
3. Cybersecurity Compliance: Familiarity with KSA cybersecurity regulations, such as Essential Cybersecurity Controls and Data Management and Governance, will be an advantage.
