Overview
A Technical Consultant will work directly with customers to define and implement advanced ArcGIS enterprise systems through Professional Services engagement activities. A Technical Consultant will work closely with Esri customers, distributors, and partners to establish solutions to make customers successful, broaden the effect of Esri technology to their business and help shape the evolution of Esri products by identifying new implementation patterns. In addition, a Technical Consultant will participate in and serve the Esri community with a diverse scope of platform configurations and projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage a complex and diverse technical scope of Professional Services engagements, projects, and programs
- Lead and provide technical direction for internal Professional Services teams during all phases of ArcGIS implementation including requirements, analysis, design, build/configuration, and deployment
- Design and implement innovative and impactful ArcGIS platform-based strategies and solutions to meet unique and complex Professional Services customer requirements
- Work closely with the customer IT team to implement and deploy Esri systems
- Support proposals with technical vision and labor estimates
- Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience and other technical staff
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in GIS project technical management and/or GIS technical consultancy
- Hands-on experience with Esri Software
- Demonstrated experience in platform architecture, solution design, project envisioning, planning, developing, and deployment
- Knowledge of integration of other enterprise systems
- Knowledge of geospatial and mapping concepts such as spatial analysis, map projections, and more
- Experience with current technology implementation patterns including service-oriented architectures
- Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas to customers, executives, other technical staff or non-technical staff
- Proven ability to design, implement, and/or administer enterprise GIS solutions/systems that leverage Esri software products
- Evaluate and translate customer's business goals, objectives, and strategies into technical and creative plans and solutions
- Understanding of IT concepts such as databases, networking, security, integration, and more
- Engage, collaborate, and facilitate with customers, internal and external teams, and stakeholders
- Assist in preparing proposals, including preparing solution definition, scope of services, staffing, and pricing
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or related STEM field
- Fluent in writing, reading and speaking in English
Recommended Qualifications
- Knowledge of and experience with software engineering and/or robust application development principles and practices
- Master's in Computer Science, Mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or related STEM field
- Fluent in writing, reading and speaking in Arabic

A Day in the Life
As an Extra Corporeal Clinical Specialist at Medtronic, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the adoption, implementation, and optimal use of different Extra Corporeal Therapies (ECT) mainly and especially our extracorporeal life support (ECLS) technologies across hospitals and intensive care units. You will serve as the clinical expert and primary point of contact for healthcare professionals, ensuring high-quality patient care through education, hands-on support, and troubleshooting during critical procedures.
Working closely with the sales and therapy development teams, your focus will be on training clinicians in the safe and effective use of Medtronic's ECT systems and disposables including our rich ECLS portfolio (ECLS Device, Oxygenators, Catheters and Cannuale), Cell Saver Devices, Ablation systems.
Supporting clinical cases and educational activities with gathering feedback from the field to help in driving continuous improvement and innovation. Your expertise will contribute to clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and the expansion of ECT therapies across targeted regions.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Develop and deliver training programs on ECLS, Cell Saver and Ablation products to healthcare providers in hospitals and medical facilities.
Provides clinical and technical expertise to sales representatives, other sales functions and customers.
Provides clinical and technical expertise through case support, product demonstrations, trials and installations.
Work closely with key opinion leaders and industry experts to stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices related to assigned therapies.
May provide follow-up support to company sales staff and customer personnel by providing technical support and information on specific applications.
Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for additional training and support to drive product adoption and sales.
Attend and support key regional, national, medical meetings
Required Knowledge and Experience:
Bachelor's degree and technical experience in the Extra Corporeal Field (Perfusionist).
Strong ECLS/ECMO experience (Above 05 years supporting cases).
Strong technical aptitude, specifically in Cardiac Surgery and/or the clinical environment
Ability to travel extensively more than 60% of the time.
Fluent in both English and Arabic languages

A Day in the LifeAs an Extra Corporeal Clinical Specialist at Medtronic, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the adoption, implementation, and optimal use of different Extra Corporeal Therapies (ECT), especially our extracorporeal life support (ECLS) technologies across hospitals and intensive care units. You will serve as the clinical expert and primary point of contact for healthcare professionals, ensuring high-quality patient care through education, hands-on support, and troubleshooting during critical procedures.
Working closely with the sales and therapy development teams, your focus will be on training clinicians in the safe and effective use of Medtronic's ECT systems and disposables, including our ECLS portfolio (ECLS Device, Oxygenators, Catheters, and Cannulae), Cell Saver Devices, and Ablation systems.
Supporting clinical cases and educational activities, you will gather feedback from the field to drive continuous improvement and innovation. Your expertise will contribute to clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and the expansion of ECT therapies across targeted regions.
Responsibilities may include the following, and other duties may be assigned:
- Develop and deliver training programs on ECLS, Cell Saver, and Ablation products to healthcare providers in hospitals and medical facilities.
- Provide clinical and technical expertise to sales representatives, other sales functions, and customers.
- Offer clinical and technical support through case support, product demonstrations, trials, and installations.
- Work closely with key opinion leaders and industry experts to stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices related to assigned therapies.
- Provide follow-up support to sales staff and customer personnel by offering technical support and application information.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for additional training and support to enhance product adoption and sales.
- Attend and support key regional and national medical meetings.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree and technical experience in the Extracorporeal Field (Perfusionist).
- Strong ECLS / ECMO experience (more than 5 years supporting cases).
- Strong technical aptitude, specifically in Cardiac Surgery and/or the clinical environment.
- Ability to travel extensively, more than 60% of the time.
- Fluent in both English and Arabic languages.
