Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Health & Safety Coordinator (Saudi National) to join our team! In this role you will get to support on-site safety implementation and compliance monitoring on a major infrastructure project. With 2 years of experience, the candidate will contribute to maintaining a safe working environment through inspections, documentation, and safety awareness activities. This is a strong opportunity for a young professional to develop within a dynamic HSE team while playing a key role in protecting the health and safety of all personnel on site.

What You’ll Be Doing:

1. Support Daily Safety Operations:

  • Assist in implementing the site-specific Health and Safety Plan under the guidance of senior HSE personnel.

  • Conduct routine site walk-throughs to identify potential hazards and ensure safe work practices.

  • Provide support in enforcing personal protective equipment (PPE) compliance and general site safety requirements.

2. Site Inspections and Monitoring:

  • Participate in daily HSE inspections and help document findings.

  • Track and report unsafe conditions or near misses, and follow up on corrective actions.

  • Monitor high-risk activities such as lifting operations, confined space entry, and work at height.

3. Incident and Hazard Reporting:

  • Assist in recording incidents, near misses, and unsafe acts/conditions.

  • Support preliminary investigations under the supervision of the HSE Lead or Manager.

  • Maintain logs and contribute to incident trend analysis.

4. Safety Training and Awareness:

  • Help coordinate and deliver site inductions and toolbox talks for workers and visitors.

  • Promote HSE awareness through posters, safety alerts, and participation in safety meetings.

  • Track training attendance and certification records for all site personnel.

5. Documentation and Compliance:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HSE documentation, including inspection checklists, PTWs, training records, and incident logs.

6. Support for Emergency Preparedness:

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

Education:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Health & Safety role on infrastructure or construction projects (e.g., roads, bridges, utilities, or airports).

  • Familiarity with field-based HSE procedures and hazard control methods.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Basic knowledge of safety standards and practices applicable to construction and infrastructure work environments.

As a Health and Safety Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring a safe work environment by applying health and safety standards, conducting risk assessments, and implementing safety protocols within industrial service operations.

Key Accountabilities

The position involves:

  • Monitor and enforce occupational health and safety standards across all operational areas.
  • Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify and address potential hazards.
  • Implement and oversee fire safety systems and emergency response plans.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations and codes.
  • Utilize PF technology to assess and ensure the effectiveness of personal protective equipment.
  • Develop safety training programs and conduct workshops for employees and contractors.
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses, and provide corrective and preventive action plans.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams to integrate FLS (Fire Life Safety) systems into facility designs.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, safety drills, and regulatory compliance reports.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve safety policies to align with best practices and technological advancements.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

We are Looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety Engineering or Fire Fighting Engineering .

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within industrial or engineering environments.

  • Strong background in PF (Personal Fall) technology and its applications in safety operations.

  • Proven experience in Fire Fighting Engineering systems and emergency response planning.

  • Solid understanding of FLS (Fire Life Safety) standards and implementation.

  • Familiarity with local and international HSE laws and regulations .

  • Proficient in conducting risk assessments, audits, and investigations .

  • Strong communication and leadership skills for safety training and coordination.

  • Ability to work in high-risk environments and manage multiple safety priorities.

  • Certification in occupational safety (such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent) is a plus.

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Health & Safety Coordinator - Aprons (Saudi National ) to join our team! Under the direction of a safety, health, and environmental (SH&E) manager or director, the Senior Health & Safety Coordinator assists in ensuring that the site-specific SH&E plans, workplaces, and operational tasks conform to Parsons' risk management practices and comply with regulatory and client SH&E requirements.

Reports to a project Delivery Manager or Program Director, and directly to the Parsons corporate SH&E group through a project HSE manager or program ESH Director. The incumbent must exercise good interpersonal and technical skills while becoming familiar with client procedures and standards.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Assist the project or program manager with administering SH&E programs.
  • Audit the project or program and its worksites against corporate standards.
  • Inspect worksites to detect hazards; provide expertise to eliminate or control SH&E risks.
  • Create and submit audit and inspection reports.
  • Monitor work planning and performance; verify conformity to Parsons' ESHARP management system.
  • Implement Parsons' injury and incident reporting processes.
  • Perform trend analyses on audit findings, inspection reports, and incidents; create analysis reports.
  • Assist with new hire orientation.
  • Conduct SH&E training and maintain training records.
  • Participate in routine safe work briefings.
  • Perform other related responsibilities as appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:
