We are hiring Sales Operations Analysts to join a team of experts who help Canonical sales teams achieve their business goals. The Sales Operations team drives continuous process and data quality improvement to ensure orders are processed correctly. The successful candidate will be a leader who shows initiative in improving the way the team works, maintaining compliance and associated governance.

The success of the role is measured against increasing the velocity of deals and the quality of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) data used to drive key business decisions. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver and team player who is passionate about the opportunity to partner with sales leadership, is also passionate about our role in the technology industry bringing open source to a wider audience of innovators and enterprises, and will design and drive programs in support of Canonical's continued success.

Location: These roles will be based remotely in the EMEA and Americas regions.

The role entails

  • Support all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the sales function globally
  • Review opportunities for accuracy and provision orders on successful closure of a deal
  • Support the Sales Operations Manager to improve sales data quality and processes
  • Report on data quality metrics to executive level stakeholders
  • Implement surveys and define metrics for executive level stakeholders
  • Support the sales team globally on CRM and other sales operations systems
  • Deliver sales metrics, dashboards and other ad-hoc analytical tasks
  • Lead automation and streamline the Lead to Order process

What we are looking for in you

  • An exceptional academic track record from high school and university
  • Experience in a sales operations/sales order processing role
  • Experience in a technology subscription-based business

About The Role

Lucid is seeking an analytical, articulate, and highly motivated Systems Analyst. We are looking for someone who can become an expert in implementing operations and processes in our Sales systems and assist in system administration responsibilities to help accelerate the growth of the Sales organization.

This role requires a mix of business analysis, operational excellence, systems administration, and configuration of SFDC Sales Cloud. As an early member of our Business Systems, Analytics, and Planning team, you will have a unique opportunity for broad exposure across many functions.
- The Role:

- Work extensively on adoption and optimization of Salesforce with customer facing teams
- Develop reports and dashboards to monitor system health, data integrity, and operational efficiency
- Assist in Salesforce administration responsibilities
- Work closely with our SFDC Developers to scale our Salesforce instance, utilizing standard solutions including Flows, assignment rules, approval processes, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, and custom labels
- Conduct UAT testing and create test plans
- Keep up to date with new Salesforce releases and support rollout plans, post-release testing and updates
- Be uncompromising in pursuing data integrity and building data generation processes that will scale
- Create technical documentation and how-to docs for Sales Ops processes within Sales systems
- Increase the efficiency of our sales team and systems in preparation for rapid growth
- Qualifications:

- 5+ years relevant experience in a Sales Operations, Salesforce Administration, or related role
- Strong understanding of software development agile methodologies and common adjacent systems
- BS/MS degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or quantitative Business fields
- SFDC Reporting and Dashboarding expertise
- Experience performing SFDC Sales Cloud Admin responsibilities
- Ability to recommend best practices for SFDC Sales Cloud
- Excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to relentlessly prioritize
