**Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Participates in the monitoring, education, and coordination of Risk Management and Patient Safety Program related activities for clinical and non-clinical services.
- Assists with the Implementation of the Risk Management, Patient Safety Program, Plans and Initiatives including:

- Conducting Patient Safety Culture Surveys ensuring adequate survey participation, data aggregation and analysis, generation of Hospital-wide Reports and development Action Plans to be presented to the QPS Council, as well as Unit Reports for the Department specific QI&PS Committees.

- Coordinating and Conducting Patient Safety Leadership WalkRounds - scheduling of activities, development of unit profiles, facilitating Rounds, recording concerns, analysis, prioritization and communication of patient safety concerns to relevant Business Owners and ensuring the timely resolution of Unit concerns through follow-up meetings and preparation of periodic reports to the QPS Council.
- Facilitating Sentinel Events reviews and Root Cause Analysis as per Sentinel Events Policies and Guidelines.
- Development of Performance Measures (working towards Data Warehouse/Balanced Scorecard) as it pertains to Risk Management and Patient Safety.
- Participates in the development of Training and Workshops for Risk Management and Patient Safety Concepts such as Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Events Reporting including Near Misses and building a Culture of Safety (Just Culture).
- Participates in the development, review/revision within all KAAUH Quality Improvement, Patient Safety and Risk Management programs, plans, activities, databases, indicators, etc.
- Conducts Orientation for QI&PS system training for all new KAAUH staff.
- Participates in simulation scenarios to assess safe readiness for new and modified systems and processes in collaboration with clinical and non-clinical services.
- Assists in data aggregation and analysis, and preparation of quarterly reports for all assigned Risk Management and Patient Safety databases.
- Attends QI&PS Committee meetings in assigned clinical and non-clinical area(s).
- Respects patients and their families to promote for a Patient-Centered Care culture.

Minimum or Required:

- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare profession (i.e. Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Hospital Administration) in which 2 years minimum experience should be in a 300+ bed capacity hospital in Quality Improvement Patient Safety and Risk Management.
- 2 years of Experience.

Preferred:

- Master’s degree in Healthcare Quality and Patient Safety or relevant science.
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or equivalent.
- No Experience Required

- Ensure that GS HSE Standards and Management System are implemented at site level.

- Prepare and maintain weekly and monthly safety statistics.

- Attend regular contractors meeting on site.

- Audit and inspect project sites against company HSE requirements.

- Investigate Safety Observation, near misses & accidents reported from sites.

- Maintain HSE management systems and programs records.

- Participate in carrying out projects risk and impact assessments.

- Review progress towards compliance with the company and client requirements on a monthly basis and provide a status report to HSE Manager.

- Ensure remedial action is taken to eliminate or reduce any significant risk identified risk / impact assessments and review them on a regular basis.

We are seeking a **Senior Manager - Safety & Security** to lead and oversee all aspects of safety and security for a high-profile Facilities Operations Managing Agent Project in Riyadh. In this critical leadership role, you will ensure the safety of employees, visitors, contractors, and assets by developing and implementing robust safety and security strategies, policies, and procedures that align with local regulations, international standards, and organizational objectives.
As the Senior Manager - Safety & Security, you will collaborate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance, mitigate risks, and foster a culture of safety and security excellence. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and technical expertise in safety and security management, as well as the ability to manage risks and respond effectively to incidents.
**What You'll Be Doing:**
**Safety & Security Leadership:**
+ Develop, implement, and oversee safety and security strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment across all FM operations.
**Regulatory Compliance:**
+ Ensure compliance with local safety and security regulations, including Saudi Arabian laws, and international standards such as ISO 45001 and ISO 27001.
**Risk Management:**
+ Identify, assess, and mitigate safety and security risks, implementing proactive measures to minimize potential threats and vulnerabilities.
**Incident Management:**
+ Oversee the investigation of safety and security incidents, ensuring root causes are identified, corrective actions are implemented, and lessons learned are shared.
**Emergency Preparedness:**
+ Develop and maintain emergency response plans, ensuring readiness for potential crises, including fire, medical emergencies, and security threats.
**Stakeholder Collaboration:**
+ Work closely with internal departments, contractors, and external agencies to ensure alignment on safety and security objectives and protocols.
**Training and Awareness:**
+ Provide training and guidance to employees, contractors, and stakeholders on safety and security policies, procedures, and best practices.
**Performance Monitoring:**
+ Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for safety and security operations, driving continuous improvement and accountability.
**Technology Integration:**
+ Leverage advanced safety and security technologies, such as surveillance systems, access control, and incident reporting tools, to enhance operational effectiveness.
**Reporting:**
+ Prepare and present safety and security performance reports to senior management, highlighting key achievements, risks, and recommendations for improvement.
**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**
+ Bachelor's degree in engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related
+ field. Master's degree is highly preferred.
+ Minimum 12 years experience in safety and security management, preferably within large-scale projects, facilities, infrastructure, or operational environments with at least 7 years in a leadership role.
+ Strong knowledge of safety and security regulations, risk management practices, and international standards (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 27001).
+ Proven expertise in developing and implementing safety and security strategies, policies, and procedures.
+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks and implement effective mitigation measures.
+ Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
+ Familiarity with safety and security practices in the GCC region, particularly in Saudi Arabia, is highly preferred.
+ Relevant certifications in safety and security management are an advantage.
