Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for the development and implementation of robotics solutions.
- Handle system integration and testing of robotic OEM platforms (using SDKs) with Yokogawa Systems.
- Evaluate and integrate third-party systems (HW/SW) to Yokogawa Systems.
- Explore new technologies in line with customer requirements/new use cases on robotics and develop a pilot trial methodology/proposal.
- Collaborate with various robotics OEMs to scope out data integration, perform site trials, troubleshooting and improvements on autonomous robotics platforms.
- Provide technical support to field operators and other stakeholders.
- Conduct feasibility studies for robotics implementation and value add for customers with adoption of robotics technologies.
- Carry out site surveys with field risk assessments and develop appropriate implementation plans for robotics solutions.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in robotics and field inspection technologies (e.g., IIoT).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics / Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronic or similar fields.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in field robotics implementation, robotics inspections, and integration of robotics platforms using OEM SDKs.
- Experience on implementation/pilot trials with autonomous inspection robotics platforms.
- Experience in project management working with interdisciplinary teams.
- Experience in Oil & Gas and/or Utilities.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, MATLAB etc.
- Proven experience with robotics simulation tools and environments (e.g., ROS, ROS 2), SLAM algorithms, etc.
- Familiarity with Git-based workflows.
- Strong knowledge of the latest AI developments, with experience in AI training, data selection, and proficiency in Python for AI tasks and integration.
- Strong knowledge of robotics systems (hardware – e.g., ExRobotics, Boston Dynamics, ANYBotics, MHI, Taurob, Deep Robotics, etc.), including sensor payloads and safety standards (hazardous area classifications).
- Familiar with robot communication networking aspects – 4G, 5G, On-premises/Cloud infrastructure, etc.
- Knowledge of Linux systems.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiar with CAD, SolidWorks etc.
- Familiar with Industry 4.0 and IoT.

OverviewThe Sr. Paint Maintenance Robotics Engineer for the Automotive Paint Shop is responsible for ensuring the optimal operation, reliability, and efficiency of mechanical systems and equipment within the paint shop. This role includes preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical failures, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to uphold production quality and minimize downtime.
You Will- Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules for mechanical systems, including ovens, conveyors, robots, pumps, and ventilation units. Address equipment breakdowns promptly to minimize production disruption.
- Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose mechanical malfunctions, analyze root causes, and implement effective corrective actions. Support the maintenance team during emergency breakdowns and critical system failures.
- Equipment Installation & Commissioning: Assist in the installation, commissioning, and testing of new paint shop equipment and mechanical systems. Ensure compliance with OEM specifications and safety standards.

**A Day in the Life**
The Global Field Clinical Engineer is a central, self-reliant specialist within the Technical Services department, performing both expert repair and on-site services as well as remote fault analysis and troubleshooting. This role is crucial for handling product-related inquiries and issues and serves as an important interface between customers, sales, technical service (Level 1 and 2), supply chain, service and repair, and the development department. The engineer ensures advanced technical advice and contributes to customer satisfaction without having to meet sales or service quotas.
**Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:**
+ Provides technical support to clinical study sites by serving as the technical resource between engineering and the medical community.
+ This position is applicable when complex products are involved in clinical trials.
+ Typically present during initial implant to determine how the product interacts with a human body.
+ Responsible for identifying investigators, presenting protocols for a study, assisting investigators in product application, and submitting status reports on all programs.
+ Support research and development in evaluating concepts of new products and modifying existing devices or therapies.
+ Individuals in this role are often publishing data and findings in journals and may have existing patents and/or patent applications.
