About the Role


The Roads Engineer is responsible for overseeing the implementation of civil works related to road construction. This includes ensuring that road projects are implemented according to approved specifications and standards, reviewing site delivery orders, and documenting them. The Roads Engineer is a key part of the team ensuring quality and compliance in road construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Follow up on the implementation of civil works in road projects, ensuring they adhere to approved specifications and standards.
  2. Review site delivery orders and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate.
  3. Ensure that all road works are implemented according to the project's specifications and standards.
  4. Ensure compliance with applicable road construction standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
  5. Prepare and submit periodic progress reports, including updates on milestones, issues, and recommendations for improvements.
  6. Document all project phases and maintain records of the road construction activities.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 15+ years of extensive and progressive experience in construction management, with a dedicated focus on large-scale road and highway infrastructure projects.

  • Proven experience as a Construction Manager or a similar senior leadership role on mega-projects, particularly in the Middle East.
