Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Roads Engineer to join our dynamic team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a Roads Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and overseeing road infrastructure projects that contribute to the Kingdom's transportation network and urban development initiatives.

• Lead and contribute to the design of road infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with local and international standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in road design and engineering, with 10+ years preferred
• Professional Engineering (P.Eng.) designation or equivalent, with eligibility for registration in Saudi Arabia
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation/Bentley (InRoads and OpenRoads), and other relevant road design software
• Strong understanding of Saudi Arabian road design standards, regulations, and international best practices
• Demonstrated experience in various road infrastructure projects, including urban and rural road design, intersection improvements, and highway engineering
• Knowledge of desert road engineering principles and experience in designing roads for arid environments
• Familiarity with sustainable road design practices and their application in local contexts
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented approach to engineering design
• Strong project management abilities, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders
• Proficiency in English, with Arabic language skills considered a plus

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Roads Engineer located in Mecca. The Roads Engineer will be responsible for supervising road construction projects, ensuring compliance with civil engineering standards, and managing pavement engineering tasks. What You'll Be Doing:

• Plans, directs, supervises, and controls the execution of all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the assigned roads infrastructure project.

• Oversees the design, construction, and maintenance phases of roads infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

• Forecasts monthly revenue, labor costs, ODCs, and gross profit for the term of the project.
