EY is recruiting for Managers to join our Technology Risk team at various offices across MENA. This position brings significant travel opportunities since EY operates a regional model with all consultants operating as one team across the region.
Your Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Manager, you will assist EY partners and other executives in managing key aspects of EY client engagements at a tactical level, and work as a key member of the engagement teams. You will draw on your knowledge and experience to solve complex issues for EY clients, support the MENA local Partner(s) and senior executives in sustaining client relationships, and build relationships with your MENA peers and internal clients.
- Everything you are involved in focuses on providing excellent customer service and helping our teams do the same. You will work with multiple client teams, advise on IT Risk related matters, and assist executives with business development activities across sectors, building strong relationships and becoming a trusted advisor to MENA clients.
- Participate in MENA engagements, working effectively as a team lead or team member, provide support, maintain communication, and update senior team members on progress. Assist in client service delivery, participate in all tasks, and assist in preparing reports delivered to clients and other parties.
Proactivity, accountability, and results-driven mindset. Ability to manage competing priorities, manage resources, and communicate effectively. These qualities have a huge impact on those around you and support a positive work ethic.
To qualify for the role, you must have- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems or a related discipline. Alternatively, a degree in business, accounting, or finance with additional IT qualifications.
- 6-7 years of relevant experience as an IT risk consultant or IT auditor in a public accounting firm, professional services firm, technology company, telecom company, financial services company, or comparable experience as an IT/IS consultant
- Relevant experience areas include IT Risk assessment and management, Digital Trust, Mobile Technology assessments, Emerging Technologies (Robotics, IoT, Cloud and Blockchain), ERP control validations (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics), systems and networking technologies, IT/Business process and internal control assessments, internal/external audit engagements, data analytics, and third-party reporting
- Fluent Arabic and/or English at professional level
- Strong verbal and written communication with problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

The Risk Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining a risk management framework for the company. He/she will ensure that risk exposures of the company are mitigated and managed within the accepted risk appetite and monitored continuously. The Risk Manager will be applying the best practices in managing risks and applying the suitable measurements satisfying issued regulations and company’s shareholders.
What Will You Do- Developing in coordination with other functions the company’s risk management strategy.
- Establishing and developing Risk Management framework, policies, risk appetite and associated applicable risk limits.
- Developing risk management related procedures to manage and maintain operational and financial objectives.
- Designing and implementing the appropriate Risk Management methodologies, tools, techniques, and programs across the company and its activities covering all risks including but not limited to operational, credit, financial, reputational, and cyber security risks.
- Implement conducting risk assessment and analysis across functions and new products.
- Performing risk assessment for overall company’s strategic projects and documentations including policies, procedures, agreements, and system implementation initiatives.
- Establishing the continuous risk management monitoring role which include the development of the early warning indicators and key risk indicators.
- Establishing comprehensive risk register covering all internal and external risks.
- Setting up appropriate mechanism of reporting and analyzing operational risk incidents and associated losses remedial.
- Developing periodic risk management awareness and building a strong risk management culture across the company.
- Ensure the required risk transfer techniques including mandatory or optional insurance are implemented and aligned with the company’s Risk Management strategy.
- Liaise with all functional heads to establish, maintain, and continuously improve risk management capabilities.
- Implements appropriate risk reporting aligned with local and international regulatory requirements and board of directors and senior management oversight.
- Enhance and implement a business continuity plan into the business lines and critical functions, supporting the functions in understanding the risk impacts to their daily operations, to manage risks effectively in coordination with technology and cyber security functions.
- Keep abreast of the development in risk management techniques, methodologies, and tools.
- Manage assigned ad hoc assignments for regulatory, committees and senior management.
- At least 6 years of experience in Risk Management is preferred in the financial industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Actuarial, or any relevant major.
- Knowledge of risk assessment, control, and analysis.
- Familiarity with SAMA compliance standards and regulations.
- Solid and demonstrated project management skills.
- You have a firm grasp of Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint & Word) and G-Suite.
