Key Responsibilities:
- Construction Program Strategy and Leadership
: Develop and oversee master construction schedules and project portfolios, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities. Lead project management teams, contractors, and consultants to deliver projects efficiently, safely, and within defined objective

Project Director - Construction Management & Supervision - 100% (m/f)
The Ideal Candidate will have a proven track record in leading large-scale transportation infrastructure construction supervision projects, with deep technical expertise across multiple engineering disciplines. They will be responsible for ensuring that construction works comply with design intent, technical specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. With extensive site-based leadership experience, the candidate will oversee project execution, resolve complex technical challenges, and guide ARX's supervision teams toward successful delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage all aspects of construction supervision on major projects from mobilization to handover.
- Oversee daily site operations, ensuring compliance with contract documents, design drawings, and technical specifications
- Lead multidisciplinary supervision teams (civil, structural, architectural, MEP, and specialist engineers/inspectors).
- Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and inspection requests.
- Monitor contractors' performance against schedules, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
- Identify technical risks, propose solutions, and resolve site-related issues in coordination with design and client teams.
- Ensure strict implementation of QA/QC procedures and international construction standards.
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental policies, ensuring compliance with Saudi regulations.
- Chair technical and progress meetings with contractors, consultants, and client representatives.
- Prepare and review technical reports, progress updates, and recommendations to clients.
- Support contract administration, including claims evaluation, variation assessments, and change orders.
- Mentor and develop resident engineers, discipline leads, and inspectors to enhance team technical capability.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline (Master's degree a plus).
- Minimum 15 years of construction supervision experience, with at least 5 years in senior management roles on large-scale projects in Saudi Arabia or the GCC
Technical Skills:
- Strong expertise in site supervision, construction methodologies, and technical problem-solving.
- In-depth knowledge of FIDIC and consultancy-based supervision contracts.
- Proficiency in construction management tools (Primavera P6, MS Project, Aconex, etc.
Core Competencies:
- Excellent command of construction codes, standards, and best practices.
- Strong leadership in site-based environments with the ability to direct large supervision teams.
- Effective communication and decision-making under high-pressure conditions.
- Proven ability to enforce quality, safety, and technical compliance.
- Certifications (Preferred): PMP, PE, or Chartered Engineer status.
Additional Skills:
- Prior experience with giga-projects and infrastructure developments in Saudi Arabia (e.g., NEOM, Red Sea, Diriyah).
