We are looking for a Restaurant Manager for a well-known, popular French Café & Restaurant in Saudi. The Restaurant Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth, efficient, and profitable operation of the restaurant while maintaining its brand ethos and high standards. The RM plays a key role in leading the team, enhancing guest satisfaction, optimizing financial performance, and upholding food safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
-Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring efficient workflow and high customer satisfaction.
-Generate and present daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports for review with the Operations Manager.
-Drive sales growth through upselling techniques and suggestive selling.
-Serve as part of the Senior Management team, taking on Duty Manager responsibilities as needed.
-Ensure consistent execution of high standards in food quality, service, and hygiene.
-Monitor and improve guest satisfaction through active engagement and feedback handling.
-Maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations, including HACCP or equivalent standards.
-Lead and motivate the team through effective shift planning, performance management, and training.
-Strategically plan for peak hours, events, and seasons to ensure smooth operations.

Requirement:
-General or Secondary Education Certificate.
-5–8 years of relevant experience in restaurant or hotel management.
-Fluent in Arabic or English (written and spoken).

-Knowledge and experience with food safety standards (HACCP or equivalent).

Handle guest complaints and concerns promptly and professionally, taking immediate corrective action as necessary. Maintain a strong presence in the restaurant, engaging with guests and ensuring their needs are met throughout their dining experience. Actively seek feedback and implement strategies to improve service quality and overall guest satisfaction.
Lead, motivate, and develop the restaurant team to deliver exceptional service in line with company standards. Ensure that staff are well-trained, knowledgeable about the menu, and equipped with the skills to anticipate and fulfill guest needs. Staff Scheduling & Labor Management:

Operational & Service Standards Compliance:

Conduct regular inspections of restaurant areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness, safety, and operational requirements.
Revenue & Cost Management:
Assist in managing the restaurant’s budget, revenue, and cost control strategies. Analyze daily financial reports to identify trends and opportunities for revenue generation. Implement effective cost-control measures to optimize profitability while maintaining the highest level of guest service and dining quality. Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Manager to set pricing, manage inventory, and implement effective waste-reduction strategies.
Menu Knowledge & Product Presentation:
Ensure that the restaurant team is well-versed in the menu offerings, including daily specials and wine pairings. Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure that food quality and presentation consistently meet or exceed expectations. Maintain a focus on guest preferences and seasonal changes to adapt the menu and ensure it remains fresh, exciting, and reflective of the brand’s standards.
Collaboration with Other Departments:
Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination, particularly during peak times. Liaise with the Front Office team to ensure smooth guest transitions from reservation to dining. Coordinate with the Events team to plan and execute special events, promotions, and private dining experiences that enhance guest engagement and drive restaurant revenue.
Health, Safety & Hygiene Standards:
Ensure the restaurant complies with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Key Responsibilities:
