Job Description
Prepare and deliver academic, research, and clinical activities, including instructional materials and research supervision.
Demonstrate preparedness and expertise in both theoretical and practical teaching components.
Support hands-on learning during practical training and clinical placements.
Exhibit professionalism, including full attendance, ethical conduct, and adherence to the clinical dress code.
Maintain a positive, responsive, and supportive relationship with students.
Facilitate individual and group learning activities effectively.
Take initiative in course coordination and participate in curriculum development.
Assist with exam-related tasks, such as question creation, practical station setup, and grading.
Participate in community service activities within and beyond the university.
Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to additional departmental tasks as needed.
A Master's or PhD in Occupational Therapy from a reputable university.
At least 3 years of experience in Occupational Therapy, preferably with teaching experience.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to academic excellence and student development.
Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse academic environment.
Interest in contributing to research and community outreach.

The Physical Therapy Specialist will administer therapeutic interventions in various settings such as inpatient, outpatient, and/or home care environments. The goal is to restore body movements and agility, manage movement disorders, relieve pain, and prevent disability arising from diseases, injuries, or lifelong conditions. This enables individuals with physical limitations to resume a normal level of activity and participation in the community.
Strategic Roles & Responsibilities00
Operational Roles & Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive physical therapy examinations for cases requiring advanced skilled and complex medical needs.
- Perform therapy requiring advanced competency skills or training in the specialty area.
- Provide skilled physical therapy in specialized areas of practice, e.g., Neuro, Women’s Health, MSK, Postoperative, etc.
- Provide mentorship and advanced training in physical therapy areas of practice.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy or an international Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, classified as a specialist by SCFHS.
Current BLS Certification. Certified in at least one physical therapy specialty (e.g., Sports Medicine, Vestibular Rehab, Pelvic Floor, Oncology Rehab, MLD, Motor Relearning, etc.).
ExperienceMore than 10 years of experience required.
