The Role

We are seeking an accomplished Regional Director – Energy (Middle East) to provide strategic leadership and operational direction for our Energy business in the AMEP Region. This role will collaborate closely with discipline leaders and align with the wider SJ Group's business objectives.

The Regional Director will be responsible for ensuring operational and technical excellence, driving business growth, and strengthening client relationships. With a proven track record of managing large-scale, multi-disciplinary projects, the ideal candidate will bring both strategic insight and hands-on leadership to grow SJ's Infrastructure function in the Middle East.

Key Responsibilities

**Location**:
This role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Overview:
Reporting to the Director of Residences - EMEA & Asia, this position oversees sales and marketing initiatives for Aman Residences in the region.

**Responsibilities**:

- Leverage local knowledge to provide competitive analysis for the region
- Proficiency in pricing strategy and inventory management
- Collaborate with development partners and senior executives to establish and execute sales goals for the region
- Maintain project level sales and marketing budgets, strategy and regular updates to corporate executives and development partners
- Ability to procure, negotiate and close high-end real estate transactions
- Mange meeting with sales team, executives, and development partner
- Prepare sales and marketing presentations for corporate and development partners
- Collaborate with regional Aman properties and travel to projects and hotels, as required
- Promote product awareness through the attendance of events and showcases, as needed

Qualifications:

- Three years minimum experience in high end residential; ideally in the branded space or in club/hospitality dealing with HNW clientele
- Sales and profit focused - always looking to maximize margins where applicable
- Good understanding of the branded residential sector and International Club scene
- Good understanding of the local and international HNWI
- Fluent in spoken and written English and Arabic (additional languages a plus)
- Knowledge of social media platform business promotions to promote sales and marketing efforts
- Possess outstanding guest services skills and sophisticated interpersonal skills
- Sensitive to cultural nuances
- Good people skills and the ability to work under pressure and with the public
- Must have right to work in Saudi Arabia

Key Responsibilities

1.Strategic Planning:

Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy for the regional product portfolio, by market, by category and by media and trade channel (aligning with the company's regional and global objectives)

Propose recommendations for strategic moves informed by market emerging trends, consumer needs, competitive landscapes

2. Brand Portfolio Management:

Develop and implement global and regional brands Positioning, Pricing, PPA and Promotional strategy ensuring consistency with the company's identity, values and business objectives

Build brand equity and lead initiatives to enhance brand awareness and loyalty.

3. Product Development & Launch:

Collaborate with R&D and Commercial teams for product development tailored to market demands.

Design and implement successful product launch campaigns, including promotional activities

4. Marketing Campaigns:

Plan and execute marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, retail, and traditional media.

Monitor campaign performance and ROI, optimizing strategies for maximum impact.

5. Stakeholder Management:

Liaise with internal teams such as sales, supply chain, and global marketing to ensure cohesive execution of marketing plans.

Manage relationships with external agencies and partners, (creative, media, design, social and digital) ensuring high-quality deliverables.

6. Budget Management:

Develop and oversee the marketing budget, ensuring cost efficiency

7. Talent Management:

Build and lead 'regional' marketing teams to support the region's growth agenda and ensure capabilities are in place to deliver against our global strategy and our pladis Values

Skills & Experience :

  • Significant Strategic Marketing experience years in developing markets ideally within the food sector
  • Proven expertise in the MENA region, with an understanding of consumer behaviour and market dynamics
  • Knowledge of Activation, digital and experiential strategy and design development
  • Commercially and financially astute
