**What You'll Be Doing**:
- Provides technical guidance to lower-level staff assigned to the Document Control department. Prioritizes, assigns and monitors workload to ensure project deliverables meet schedule.
- Resolves non-routine help desk issues and inquiries related to document controls (e.g., resolving access issues).
- Provides on-demand request services to the PM, delivery order managers, functional group leads, and staff. Some examples: (1) providing labor forecast reports to delivery order managers on anticipated document control support requirements; (2) creating/formatting customized electronic libraries in SharePoint for collaboration and document management.
- Identifies and coordinates document control resources to support program team members, and serves as a liaison to client counterparts.
- Administers and maintains mailbox traffic, electronic documentation, incoming record logs, project library, distribution lists, and permissions and security groups.
- Maintains SharePoint libraries and the document control website. This includes the daily purging and archiving of process mail and help desk traffic from mailboxes.
- Performs qualify checks by sampling processed incoming traffic and help desk inquiries for accuracy and adherence to procedures, etc.
- Provides document control orientation briefing and materials to new hires.
- Provides training and guidance to document control staff and program team members on use of software tools and resources. Conducts informal lunch-time training sessions on use of the program’s forms and templates.
- Establishes document control responsibilities for delivery order start-up, close-out, and prime contract close-out.
- Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
**What Desired Skills You'll Bring**:
- Diploma in any related disciple
- Minimum 5+ years of related work experience in a similar position
- Proficiency in Aconex is a must.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, and a thorough knowledge of industry practices and company policies and procedures are required.

Context
We are looking for a PMIS/Document Control Manager to lead and manage the implementation, integration, and operation of Project Management Information Systems (PMIS) and Document Control functions for major rail projects within Saudi Arabia. You will ensure best practices in document management, collaborative workflows, data integrity, and regulatory compliance across all project phases.
Missions/Main Duties:
PMIS Management:
- Implement, configure, and optimise PMIS for multi-disciplinary rail projects.
- Oversee data migration, system integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Train internal and external stakeholders on effective use of PMIS platforms.
Document Control:
- Develop, implement, and enforce document control policies, procedures, and workflows in accordance with company and client requirements.
- Ensure document numbering, archiving, approval, and distribution standards are strictly followed.
- Oversee the management of controlled documents (drawings, reports, correspondences, contracts) to ensure timely, secure, and accurate delivery.
Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of document controllers and PMIS administrators.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Construction, Quality, and Compliance teams to streamline information management processes.
- Conduct regular audits to assure system integrity and continuous improvement.
- Interface with client representatives, JV partners, and subcontractors for document and data management requirements.
- Generate dashboard reports and KPI analytics for senior management and stakeholders.
- Manage the control and distribution of project documentation for regulatory and contractual compliance.
- Identify improvement areas in document control and PMIS workflows.

Profile/Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Management, Project Management, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in document control and information management within the rail, transit, or major infrastructure sector.
- Demonstrated expertise in leading PMIS (e.g., Aconex, Bentley eB, Primavera Unifier, Asite, or similar platforms).
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (BS/ISO 19650, CDE principles, etc.).
- Significant experience within a PMO on large-scale or multi-package rail projects.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
