JOB-SPECIFIC
- Support the other departments to fix the customers' issues
- Lead the reconciliation and balancing analysis on pool accounts and customer transactions
- Ensure accurate summary reconciliation reports are generated in a timely manner and highlight required actions
- Take proper actions as required including investigating transactions, bank interface issues, or customer claims
- Work closely with other departments, especially with the Digital, Safeguarding, and Customer Care to resolve any reconciliation or customer claim issues
- Resolve promptly and/or escalate any risks not addressed
- Recommend and implement process improvements to increase the efficiency and accuracy of daily and periodic reconciliation processes
- Ensure reconciliation controls and processes are up to date
- Coordinate to collect data, check its integrity and summarize it
- Run models, verify their applicability, analyze them then communicate results
- Maintain and upgrade knowledge of the core aspects of banking and accounting reconciliation
- Prepare general ledger reconciliations for a financial institution
- Perform ad-hoc requests and special projects
Education
Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent fields of studies
The education levels can be replaced by years of experience
Experience
Five (5) to eight (8) years of experience in a similar role
Skills
Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools and computerized ledger system
Languages: Fluent in English and Arabic
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred
