Role Purpose

The Quality Control Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring quality control strategies and procedures to ensure that all products, services, and repair processes meet customer expectations and international quality standards. The role plays a key part in safeguarding sales demand, achieving customer satisfaction, and ensuring compliance with ISO, ESA, and other regulatory frameworks within the energy, power, and solar sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and execute Quality Management Systems (QMS) aligned with industry best practices.
  • Measure performance against in-house, national, and international standards (ISO, ESA, etc.).
  • Review existing quality policies and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Identify weaknesses in processes and recommend corrective and preventive measures.
  • Inspect, sample, and test products, equipment, and production processes to ensure compliance.
  • Oversee incoming goods inspection and ensure received equipment meets required specifications.
  • Perform testing and fault diagnostics on electrical and rotating equipment (offline/in-service tests, visual inspections, geometric measurements, fits & tolerances).
  • Prepare and approve final inspection reports for repaired equipment and ensure compliance of repair shop activities.
  • Issue and execute inspection programs/checklists, ensuring documentation and traceability.
  • Support the SAFE Maintenance Team in technical inspections and quality-related tasks.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional managers, production, and training departments to implement quality initiatives.
  • Review and evaluate the effectiveness of process improvements and corrective actions.
Education & Certification Requirements
  • Must have Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
  • Relevant certifications in ISO/QMS/Quality Auditing are a plus.
Knowledge & Experience
  • Minimum 4 years of proven experience in Quality Control within the energy, power, solar, or industrial sectors.
  • Strong understanding of rotating equipment repair processes and electrical systems.
  • Hands-on experience in inspection, testing, and quality assurance for industrial or energy projects.
  • Solid knowledge of QMS frameworks, ISO standards, and compliance protocols .
  • Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Project, and SAP (or similar ERP systems).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills .
  • High sense of responsibility, integrity, and organizational skills.
