Responsibilities
- Test the products to the requirement of Quality control instructions (QCI)
- Stage inspection of assembly process.
- Keep a log of tested and inspected products.
- Work with all team working and drive continuous improvement initiatives and make suggestions for improvements.
- Manage and coordinate continuous improvement teams, project and initiatives.
- Follow all health and safety instructions and safe working procedures as per Lucy integrated management system (LIMS)
The position is responsible to:
- Quality Manager.
- To test the units as per the Quality Control Instruction.
- Work with team and take continuous improvement initiatives and make suggestions for any improvements.
- Test the products to the requirement of Quality control instructions (QCI)
- Ensure that the test equipment’s in the calibration matrix are having proper identifications and are checked for due date of calibration before use.
- Ensure the output of product meets the planned production targets.
- Ensure that birth certificates are duly filled in and signed off by testing and manufacturing personnel
- Inspect the units with respect to BOM, if any discrepancy found with the product alerting engineer and concerned production supervisors.
- Ensure that the products offered for testing are tested and released without any delay.
- Ensure good house-keeping in the testing area
- Ensure that the test equipment’s are handled properly and cleaned regularly
Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
2 Years of hands-on experience in Switch gear testing.
Job-Specific Skills:
Knowledge in Electrical testing of switchgears,
Good team player with good communication skill & ready to learn attitude.

Support the implementation of the QFS Management System (MS) in the plant to ensure products compliance to specifications through continuous monitoring, testing and inspection to verify products specs and ensure adherence to QFS processes and liaise with stakeholders to take immediate actions whenever needed while at the same time support building of necessary competencies to all concerned parties to ensure proper understanding and implementation of the requirements so that QFS targets are achieved
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Put the QFS Policy into implementation and assume all responsibilities assigned in the QFS MS
- Conduct inspections on the products quality versus specifications as per the inspection sheet and prepare related reports
- Monitor the adherence to food safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and hygiene requirements
- Conduct behavioral safety observations as assigned by plant QFS Manager
- Conduct online testing of quality parameters as per the online testing program requirements
- Note any deviations and communicate to the stakeholders and ensure proper course of action is immediately taking place including hold and release of any nonconforming product according to the Hold and release procedure
- Verify and validate undertaken actions to ensure their effectiveness in delivering required improvements
