Responsibilities

• Ensure that birth certificates are duly filled in and signed off by testing and manufacturing personnel
• Inspect the units with respect to BOM, if any discrepancy found with the product alerting engineer and concerned production supervisors.
• Ensure that the products offered for testing are tested and released without any delay.
• Ensure good house-keeping in the testing area
• Ensure that the test equipment’s are handled properly and cleaned regularly

Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

2 Years of hands-on experience in Switch gear testing.

Key responsibilities

• Raw materials inspection
  : Inspect and test incoming ingredients and packaging materials to ensure they meet quality and safety standards before entering the production line.
• In-process monitoring
  : Conduct checks during various stages of production to ensure manufacturing processes comply with established hygiene and quality protocols, such as Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Finished product inspection
  : Perform final checks on products for attributes like appearance, color, taste, texture, and smell, as well as confirm correct labeling and packaging.
• Testing and analysis
  : Collect and submit food samples for laboratory analysis, including microbiological, chemical, and physical testing, to verify they meet quality and safety specifications.
• Documentation and reporting
  : Accurately complete and maintain all required quality control logs, inspection forms, and reports. Document any non-conformance issues or product defects.
• Issue resolution
  : Report any defects or problems to the quality assurance and production managers. Assist in investigating the root cause of quality lapses and implementing corrective and preventative actions.
• Facility and sanitation audits
  : Conduct regular audits of the production plant and equipment to ensure they meet hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Staff training
  : Assist in training production staff on food safety, hygiene practices, and quality control procedures.
• Regulatory compliance
  : Stay up-to-date on all relevant local, state, and federal food safety laws and regulations to ensure the company remains in compliance.

• Responsible for putting the Quality hold or reject sticker on non-conforming products (if necessary) either from in-process inspection measurement checks or during spot checks in the warehouse & block them in ALPLA Stock.
• Maintain the in-house calibration for CMM & Magna mike
• Prepares the daily inspection results in the CAQ.
• Prepares the Certificate of Analysis.
• Monitor the temp. and humidity inside lab.
• Update the counter storage samples at samples cabinet (last run samples).
• Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in their respective areas.

Job Purpose :
Support the implementation of the QFS Management System (MS) in the plant to ensure products compliance to specifications through continuous monitoring, testing and inspection to verify products specs and ensure adherence to QFS processes and liaise with stakeholders to take immediate actions whenever needed while at the same support building of necessary competencies to all concerned parties to ensure proper understanding and implementation of the requirements so that QFS targets are achieved

Principal Accountabilities

• Put the QFS Policy into implementation and assume all responsibilities assigned in the QFS MS
• Conduct inspections on the products quality versus specifications as per the inspection sheet and prepare related reports
• Monitor the adherence to food safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and hygiene requirements
• Conduct behavioral safety observations as assigned by plant QFS Manager
• Conduct online testing of quality parameters as per the online testing program requirements
• Note any deviations and communicate to the stakeholders and ensure proper course of action is immediately taking place including hold and release of any nonconforming product according to the Hold and release procedure
• Verify and validate undertaken actions to ensure their effectiveness in delivering required improvements
• Support the QFS training program as assigned by the plant QFS Manager
• Conduct Sanitation verification and Bio-trace as per sanitation procedure requirements
• Provide QFS advice/guidance/coaching to the plant team and identify common competency gaps to be addressed in the relevant training programs
• Support the QFS MS development and continuous improvements through active participation as assigned by the plant QFS Manager
• Recognize and embrace positive behaviours and practices.
• Ensuring calibrations of all QFS control equipment (metal detectors, primary and secondary weighers and check weighers, seal checkers, balances…etc.)

Qualifications
EXPERIENCE/COMPENTENCIES REQUIRED

• Experience of +3 years in similar position preferably in the same field
• Excellent command of both Arabic and English languages and literacy in computer usage.
• Self-starter able to work independently with a high degree of business savvy.
• Excellent communication and presenting skills and the ability to engage with and influence the behaviours of others internally and externally without direct reporting relationship
• Problem solving and strong analytical thinking (root-cause analysis, setting action plans…etc.)
