Job Description and Requirements
You should have a university degree or equivalent with at least seven years of inspection experience, or a high school diploma with at least ten years of inspection experience. Additionally, you should have a minimum of three years directly related to supervising construction activities within the scope of oil, gas, petrochemical projects, infrastructure, or communication sectors.
Aramco approval in previous projects and passing the CBT (Computer Based Testing) are required.
Mission
- Support the implementation of the Project Quality Management System (PQMS) within the project.
- Assist the Project Quality Manager (PQM) / Quality Control Manager (QCM) in supervising project quality control activities.
- Report project information and data to PQM / QCM following corporate guidelines.
- Coordinate with QCM as the focal point for quality control matters and liaise with external entities.
Tasks
- Define the Project Quality Control System and identify necessary project quality control plans and procedures.
- Assist in planning and allocating QC supervisor functions across the project.
- Review and verify quality control plans, inspection/test plans, and that tests and controls are performed according to plans.
- Check procedures and equipment used in tests and inspections, ensuring they meet operational standards.
- Verify the receipt, storage, identification, traceability, and handling of materials and equipment.
- Ensure proper documentation and certification of tests, controls, and inspections.
- Verify that tests, controls, and inspections are conducted by contractors and that proper quality tools are used.
- Provide support in interfacing with clients and third parties regarding quality issues.
- Ensure site personnel are trained on QC topics.
- Oversee non-conformity detection, recording, and corrective actions.
- Assist in preparing the final dossier's quality section, ensuring thorough collection of QC documentation.
- Collect and analyze project QC data for reporting and review purposes.
- Support lessons learned processes and report project QC information using corporate tools.

ObjectivesThe Junior Quality Control Engineer will work on testing software applications and systems to verify that they function according to customer specifications and requirements. This position is typically offered full-time and reports to the QC Lead. Those best-suited for this role are detail-oriented, have strong analytical skills, and enjoy working as part of a team.
Responsibilities- Perform tests on software applications to identify bugs, verify functionality, and ensure the software meets customer requirements
- Generate test cases and test scripts to execute testing procedures
- Report identified bugs through a designated bug tracking system and ensure they are resolved
- Conduct regression testing to verify that previously resolved bugs do not reoccur
- Collaborate with the development team to understand software requirements and provide feedback on design and implementation
- Participate in the test planning and test estimation process
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test data
- Work closely with other team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of testing tasks
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in software testing
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices
- Experience with test case design and execution
- Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
