JOB DESCRIPTION

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Day to day inspection and reporting activities.
  • Work in accordance with ARM QMS and HSE procedures& policies.
  • Supporting workshop foreman in monitoring, identification, and traceability process.
  • Perform timely incoming inspection (materials, steel structures, capital equipment, mechanical parts).
  • Review and approval of supplier inspection report.
  • Perform timely quality inspection in accordance with Inspection and Test Plan (ITP), Router, drawings and quality instructions in the shops.
  • Perform visual and dimensional control of weld joints.
  • Perform visual, dimensional control of steel structures, including quality of painting.
  • Review and control of painting production process (temperature, humidity, thickness of wet and dry layer)
  • Perform required NDT inspection or review NDT reports (for outsourced NDT processes)
  • Prepare required inspection reports.
  • Monitoring and maintain the measurement instrument/ equipment calibration up to date.
  • Create Non-conformance reports (NCRs), when required. Provide marking and isolation of nonconforming products/ parts.
  • Create disposition plan for every Non-conformance report, monitoring status of created NCRs and implementation of disposition.
  • Re-inspect nonconforming products/ parts after repair/rework.
  • Need to perform duty as and when required by Shop supervisors and job priority.
  • Involve in internal and external audits.
  • Perform another work-related task as assigned.


Facility/Group Specific Responsibilities:

  • Perform a wide verity of inspection and quality control operations in visual, dimensional, and functional nature, making necessary critical observations, tests, or competing appropriate documentation as required.


Education/Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • AWS/CSWIP CSWIP 3.1 Certified Welding Inspector as minimum.


Experience Required:

  • Minimum 3 years of weld visual inspection experience.
  • Knowledge in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Familiar with API 4F, 8C, and 16A, and AWS D1.1 code requirements.


The following are a plus:

  • NDT Level II for PT, MT & UT.
  • NACE or BGas Certified Coating Inspector level II.


Key Competencies & Skills:

  • Good understanding of the Company Quality Management System
  • Knowledge in reading and interpreting engineering drawings; AWS D1.1 inspection criteria; and understanding material specifications and requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, test, and measure materials using gauges, calipers, and micrometers, and operate electronic inspection equipment to ensure all procedures and products are inspected to a high standard.
  • Conduct visual and dimensional inspection to ensure parts, components, sub-assemblies and assemblies and the SRP meet approved designs and specifications. Any deviations or non-conformances including proposed changes shall be communicated to the QC Manager.
  • Maintain detailed testing records.
  • Provide visual inspection and measurement confirmation for outgoing equipment assemblies, and maintain inspection records and reports.
  • Ensure that all processes, procedures, specifications and applicable work instructions required for the quality control process are understood, followed and appropriate records are maintained.
  • Maximize output and efficiency.
  • Accurate maintenance of quality records.
  • Develop and implement any required Quality Control plans.
  • Ensure all incoming products, components, services, SRP and activities meet the specifications.
  • Resolve issues that arise with MTR and other shipping documents.
  • Assist with other purchasing/QC/document control duties as they arise.

  • Approve final quality control documents such as product and SRP release.

  • Generate and input NCRs into the NCR database for any discrepancies / Non-conformances with requirements, product components, services, SRP or activities that do not meet the engineering and/or order requirements.

Position Requirements

Experience and Skills
  • 5-10 years’ Quality Control and inspection experience, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry downhole equipment manufacturing sector (international experience an asset).
  • Experience and training in CNC machining and programming and usage, and experience in CMM is an asset.
  • Experience with following QMS and applicable industry standard requirements such as ISO 9001, API Q1 and API Q2.
  • Experience in continually improving the Quality Management System processes.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of Packers Plus processes (is an asset).
  • Data-oriented with the ability to analyze data and draw conclusions.
  • Knowledge of raw materials is an asset.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Education and Training

  • Post-secondary education in Business Management or Engineering. Course work in Quality Control, or equivalent experience an asset.

Physical and Safety Requirements

  • Position is Safety Sensitive and subject to a pre-employment medical assessment and drug and alcohol testing.
  • Subject to post-incident and reasonable-cause drug and alcohol testing.
  • Extended periods of standing at an inspection bench or table using TMMDE.

Job Summary:

The Electrical QC Inspector will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring all electrical works within the stadium project meet approved drawings, international standards, project specifications, and client requirements. The inspector will oversee quality procedures across stadium-specific systems such as high-capacity lighting, broadcasting, BMS, PA systems, fire alarms, and backup power systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform quality inspections on all electrical installations including:
  • Stadium lighting (floodlights, emergency lighting, control systems)
  • Fire alarm and voice evacuation systems
  • BMS, CCTV, access control and PA systems
  • Backup generators and UPS systems
  • Main and sub-main distribution panels
  • Cable routing, termination, and grounding
  • Verify installation works comply with drawings, specifications, and relevant codes (e.g., IEC, NFPA, BS, NEC).
  • Conduct inspections at various stages – material delivery, installation, pre-commissioning, and commissioning.
  • Review and update inspection and test plans (ITPs), method statements, and project QA/QC procedures.
  • Ensure that electrical materials used are approved, properly stored, and installed as per manufacturer's recommendations.
  • Identify and report non-conformances (NCRs), follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
  • Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, and client representatives for inspection approvals.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

    2–3 years on stadium, arena, or large-scale infrastructure projects
    .
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • Stadium electrical and ELV systems

  • Experience with high-capacity lighting systems and audio-visual infrastructure is highly preferred.
