: Hiring of QC Supervisor at EWPS package-2

The Candidate shall have a University Degree or Equivalent and a total of Seven Years inspection experience or a school diploma with a total of ten years inspection experience. As minimum he shall have three years directly relating to supervision of construction activities in the contract SOW( Oil, Gas and Petrochemical projects, Infrastructure, Communication.)

Qualifications

The Quality Control Supervisor supervises quality control inspectors. He also oversees overall quality inspection activities of Central Kitchen. He has to do the corrective action for non-compliant cases that can be resolved within defined procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quality control policies and procedures
• Perform internal Inspections for Pressure Vessels, Storage Tanks, and Exchangers during T&I.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify areas for process improvement
• Review product specifications and make recommendations for improvements
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
• Monitor production processes to identify areas where defects may occur and implement
• Investigate product quality concerns and implement solutions to prevent future issues
• Track and report on quality control metrics, including product defect rates and inspection completion rates

Qualification:

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties

• Monitoring of the changes in day-to-day deliveries of incoming materials
• Supervise all Internal & External Quality related activities.
• Conduct activities in accordance with all safety policies, health standards, and safe work practices in effect at the job site
• Conduct Plant Trial mixes according to contract specifications and R & D Program.
• Sign the delivery ticket, issue an inspection report, or supply other evidence that the concrete batching has been inspected.
• Issue a daily inspection report showing all test results and documenting observations made during the day. Deficiencies and to whom they were reported should be clearly identified.
• Conduct customer requested testing on raw materials and concrete as and when required.
• Conduct Audits and review/analyze data and documentation (IDEAL)

Responsibilities

• Assign suitable technical personnel to conduct required tests on fresh concrete and ensure the tests are carried out according to Inspection Testing Plan.
• Report to Quality Control Manager in the event of product nonconformity
• Verify proper storage of all materials on a daily basis. All storage areas should be clean and free of contamination.
• Observe that the facilities, scales, and truck mixers meet the specified project requirements
• Determine that the trucks are in good operating condition and not loaded beyond their rated capacities for mixing and agitation.
• Verify that the scales and other measurement systems have been properly calibrated within the period specified by the Quality Procedure or referenced documents
• Ensure that a minimum of two specimens should be tested at the designated age for determining conformance with the specified strength. Additional specimens may be tested at other ages for information.

MISSION

• Ensure the supervision of welding inspection activities and verify Quality Control Plans implementation
• Support Quality Control Manager (QCM) / Quality Control Coordinator (QCC) in supervising the project Quality Control activities

TASKS

• Check Quality Control Plans with reference to welding activities
• Check the availability and adequacy of consumables and equipment / instrumentation used for welding execution and control
• Verify that material and equipment are correctly received, stored, preserved, calibrated, handled, identified and traceable
• Support and check the evaluation of the qualification of inspection personnel in charge of works, verify work procedures, including those relating to special processes
• Support the definition of QC Information System rules
• Supervise and witness inspections, check reports and documentation issued by inspectors and verify the collection of required Quality Records
• Verify that tests, controls and inspections are carried out according to Quality Control Plans / Inspection Test Plans, checking the collection of relevant documentation also for the mechanical completion approval, and that personnel have access to all required project documentation
• In case of subcontracted activities, verify the correct implementation of approved Quality Control Plans / Inspection Test Plans, witnessing inspections and collecting relevant Quality Control records
• Verify the collection and management of documents certifying test, controls and inspections, checking that all records are properly retrievable within the final As-Built dossier
• Verify the preparation of the Quality works dossier for final handover to the Document Controller
• Verify that the NCR management process is in place and effective
• On board vessels, support the QCM /QCC in planning and allocating QC Inspector and Pipe Tally functions to the various area of the project, ensuring coordination of assigned personnel
• In case of vessels without NDT Supervisor/Operators and with approval of NDT Department (e.g., chartered vessels, MSV, DSV etc.) carry out NDT inspection interpreting related results (UT, MT, PT or any other NDT methods the interpreter is certified for) in accordance with qualified procedures (where required according to the operational needs)
