Job Purpose

Job Context

Ensure all rate settlements are done as per purchasing policy, new vendor development for localization, and cost reduction need to be achieved through different methods, supplier quality improvements.

Job Dimensions

The job involves developing vendors for direct & indirect material based on demand, finding alternate suppliers, cost reduction, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.

Key Accountabilities

These will include:

1. Source new suppliers as per QMS guidelines of LSA.
2. Drawing / specification review.
3. Localization development of different commodities in KSA.
4. Should cost analysis for the requirements.
5. Coordinate with technical internal stakeholders for the due diligence of new suppliers/ parts to be developed.
6. Float formal enquiries in favor of LSA.
7. Handhold with suppliers for development & pass through the samples as per Global standards.
8. Tool / die development along with its contract & log sheet management.
9. Supplier improvement for quality & delivery.
10. Cost reduction for existing sources YoY.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

• More than 4 years’ experience in purchasing or vendor development area, i.e., electrical/mechanical/consumables parts procurement & development.
• Delivery OTIF: 96% at least.
• Quality PPM: 250 for the assigned commodities.
• Cost: 3% reduction in spend for the assigned commodities.
• QMS/ Contract management: 100% adherence to QMS, its continual improvement & contract sign off.
• PR to PO conversion process to support production team.
• Follow up with suppliers & bring the material on time for delivery.
• More than 4 years’ experience in Direct/Indirect Purchase department in a manufacturing company (experience in procurement in a reputed organization, preferably switchgear industry will be added as advantage).
• Graduate bachelor’s degree in preferably Supply Chain, Logistics Management; however, an engineering degree with Supply Chain Professional certificate is acceptable.
• Excellent negotiation & persuasive skills with high level technical knowledge in overall electrical, mechanical materials and suppliers in the region and abroad.
• Experience in vendor development and resourcing supplies.
• Experience of working with suppliers across the world.
• Self-starter and takes initiative for additional responsibilities and challenges.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Data-oriented and logical thinking are key attributes required in the candidate.

As the Saudi Arabia Supply Chain Manager, you’ll work closely with commercial team, regulatory, quality, finance & operations teams/departments, as well as third party logistics, cluster, area & global colleagues in the EPD division.

What You’ll Do:

• Partner with affiliate Leadership team to drive sales, growth and margin improvement
• Responsible for developing and implementing country supply chain strategies supporting all financial, operational, quality and regulatory aspects
• Build up and maintain supply chain country strategic roadmap, ensure that processes meet and reflect EPD overall expectations
• Responsible for implementing all Supply Chain planning policies: procedures and practices in the market.
• Responsible for driving supply chain effectiveness, with full accountability on E2E SC process.
• Key contributor in Biosimilars localization projects evaluation and implementation.
• Work with TPM leader on TPM selection, capacity reservation to ensure supply security.
