The Property Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for coordinating and supervising maintenance, services, repairs and minor capital improvement projects for Extra's premises across the Kingdom and Internationally" Arab "
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Carrying out routine scheduled maintenance work and responding to breakdown & emergency situations.
- Ability to diagnose breakdown problems & initiate troubleshooting process for building assets including HVAC, electrical, generators, plumbing systems, fire & life safety, appliances, roofs, furniture, fixtures and equipment.
- Ability to deal with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs.
- Performs assigned day-to-day repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance records as required.
- Review and ensure completion of assigned work orders, including estimation of time & materials needed to complete repair.
- Provides technical and functional leadership to Maintenance Team.
- Assists in monitoring work done by outside contractors and reporting the status of each project to the Maintenance Manager.
- Trains maintenance team in work and safety procedures and in the operation and use of tools, equipment and supplies; implements procedures and standards.
- Participates in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies and priorities for the maintenance section and identifies resources needed.
- Reviews the operation of properties equipment and systems constantly, to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate solving problems in a timely manner, and to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Conducts employee performance reviews based on job descriptions to determine competency, knowledge, and contribution of the maintenance technicians.
- Ensure changes to company policy or procedure are communicated to the staff in timely manner.
- Generation of monthly brief containing the details of problems solved and improvements made.

- 5+ years in Building Maintenance within high rise, hotel or commercial building.
