About the Role
Design Management and Team Leadership:
- Adhere to project deadlines.
- Maintain design quality standards.
- Deliver projects under the guidance of Senior Architect (SA) and/or Design Manager (DM), providing technical support to Design Architects / Architects.
- Participate in implementing the project execution plan.
- Communicate with project stakeholders (clients, consultants, contractors) as needed to manage expectations and drive success.
- Assist in preparing the projects’ list of deliverables.
Design & Technical Expertise:
- Contribute to the preparation of project concept designs, including but not limited to:
- Design Delivery plan (Assist SA/DM/SDM)
- Design Management Plan (Assist SA/DM/SDM)
- Presentations
- Drawings and reports
- Collaborate with SA on complex design challenges and ensure technical feasibility.
- Develop project deliveries while maintaining high-quality design documents and construction drawings.
- Create project list of deliverables aligned with the project contract brief.
- Assist in reviewing code compliance and materials/systems selection.
- Participate in design coordination within the Architecture team and with other disciplines (civil, structure, MEP, ID, Landscape, vertical transportation, and other specialists).
- Develop project BIM models and produce design documents/reports.
- Maintain BIM model quality in coordination with the BIM Coordinator/Manager.
- Implement the BIM Execution Plan successfully.
- Ensure successful project delivery meeting deadlines.
- Maintain project deliverables quality.
- Utilize project’s man-hours efficiently under team leader guidance.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Fluent in spoken and written communication.
- Participate actively in meetings, presentations, and workshops.
- Build strong relationships within the team.
- Promote a collaborative work environment.
Department Operations:
- Maintain professional conduct aligned with company ethics.
- Collaborate effectively with other disciplines and external consultants.
- Participate in knowledge sharing and skills development.
- Take partial ownership of assigned projects under SA/DM guidance.
- Mentor younger team members in coordination with HoD directions.
What do we need from you
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture with relevant experience.
- At least 7 years of experience in architectural design, including at least 2 years practicing PA responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of architectural design principles, project delivery, and building codes.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the GCC region.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in BIM processes, implementation, and workflows.
