Our client is a leading industrial manufacturing company with a strong reputation in Saudi Arabia. They have strong expansion plans for 2013 so present exciting opportunities for strong Managers to be involved in this business.
We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to be based in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia.

JOB OVERVIEW

Full responsibility for organizing, directing and managing the production departments within the company to manufacture the defined product mix, meet quality standards and achieve cost targets.
Reporting to: Technical Director

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maximize production and efficiency
• Responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations within Hot End, Cold End, Batch Plant and Sizing departments
• Own all aspects of production management including Safety, Quality, Efficiency, Waste and Cost
• Analyze and evaluate the quality and cost effectiveness of production methods and techniques utilized and manpower allocation
• Recruit, develop, and challenge a highly motivated, technically competent, and loyal team that can deliver results and grow into additional responsibility and leadership in the organization
• Assure that training plans are in place and utilized for all departmental employees to assure the safe and proper production of materials
• Develop and manage departmental budgets and meets financial, quality and safety goals
• Identify cost savings opportunities and investments to improve return on investment

• 15-20 years of successful production experience with increasing management responsibility
• At least 5 years experience working in Glass Fiber Production and glass fiber manufacturing
• Has sound overview of glass fiber business, end uses, applications, costing and economics.
• Glass Fiber Engineering – has knowledge of engineering aspects of glass fiber manufacturing
• University level Bachelor’s Degree required in Engineering or Science

• Schedule productions, lead on Content research and resourcing talent when needed.
• Knowledgeable of creative content process and development and script skeletons.
• Supervise pre-production, production, and liaise with our post-production team to ensure project completion to the highest standards not excluding location scouting, casting and logistics.
• Source out directors, writers, and creative teams and step in on the smaller projects as needed (ex: Activations, interview questions etc.)
• Ensure legal, safety, and compliance requirements are met across regions according to our internal process and in accordance with our legal department.
• Act as the key point of contact for clients when needed or liaise with client servicing and growth department for support, ensuring transparency, trust, and creative alignment with HOP supervision.

• 5+ years in film, TV, branded content and servicing production, with a strong portfolio and references .
• Hands-on experience working with clients in the MENA/GCC region .
• Deep understanding of all aspects of production - including directing, cinematography, content production, post-production, and emerging digital formats.
• Strong track record of managing budgets and schedules effectively.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Problem-solving abilities; adept at balancing creative with operational and logistical efficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree in film, Media Production, or related field (preferred) or equivalent/ Relevant experience.
