ChampionX has an immediate need for a Production Associate based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia . This role is responsible for the daily production, testing, material transfer, packing and labelling operations of the day in a manner that is safe to themselves, his colleagues, and the environment. This role is also responsible for timeliness, cleanliness, and productivity. This person must implement best practices in production platforms. The role is multi-functional in terms of production, quality checking and ware-housing operations.

What You Will Do:

Follow the company policies including the quality, safety, health, and environment policies, codes of conduct plus other local legal regulations.

Participate in daily meetings, awareness sessions and training courses.

Follow the relevant written work instructions, procedures, best practices, direct verbal instructions from the shift supervisors.

Handling the production equipment as necessary as per the work instructions, best practice or as instructed by shift supervisors.

Report any Process, Tools and Equipment Breakdown or Malfunctioning to direct supervisors or plant managers.

Wear the necessary Personal Protective Equipment’s as instructed or provided by the company policies and procedures.

Material transfer from/to containers/tanks/tankers, labeling the containers as provided by the company systems with correct raw materials consumption and final Products filling.

Materials sampling for Quality control purposes.

Responsible for his own safety and the safety of others by complying with all company regulations.

Communicate effectively with all levels of personnel.

Cleaning and housekeeping activities for the plant, machinery and conducting minor maintenance works.

Report any unsafe acts or conditions or any spills or release of material.

Ensure chemicals storage are safe as per plant best practices and procedures.

Operation and handling of the forklifts after acquiring the necessary training and certification and as guided and instructed by the shift supervisors.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Diploma degree in C hemical Industrial Fields.

Minimum 2 years of experience in similar industrial fields.

Good troubleshooting skills.

Knowledge of health and safety regulations.

We are seeking an Assistant Production Manager for our Dammam Plant to oversee production activities, ensuring alignment with company goals and organizational strategic objectives. The role focuses on maintaining optimal product quality, volume, and cost-efficiency while adhering to regulatory and safety standards. This position involves direct management of production sectors and collaboration with key departments such as Supply Chain, Quality, EHS, Operational Excellence, and Engineering, as well as fostering effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Assist in managing the daily operations of the relevant section to ensure that work processes are executed as designed and in compliance with established policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Help prepare timely and accurate reports to meet company and departmental requirements, policies, and standards.
• Ensure adherence to manufacturing practices and regulations to uphold product quality.
• Coordinate production activities to optimize efficiency and meet production targets.
• Quickly troubleshoot and resolve production issues to minimize downtime.
• Review and approve change requests to safeguard product quality and compliance.
• Implement quality risk management procedures to mitigate potential risks.
• Investigate customer complaints and take appropriate actions before product release.
• Develop and execute corrective and preventive action (CAPA) plans to address production challenges and enhance processes.
• Identify opportunities to optimize resource utilization and improve cost-effectiveness.
• Generate and analyze production reports to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Support the development and training of production staff to enhance skills and ensure compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth production processes and alignment with overall company goals.
• Coordinate with the Engineering department to ensure the maintenance of buildings, machinery, and equipment for maximum efficiency, supported by the implementation and follow-up of a robust OEE system.
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls across the section to guarantee employee safety, regulatory compliance, and environmental responsibility.
• Ensure emergency situations are clearly defined, and all employees are aware of their roles in response.
• Ensure that necessary HSE resources are available to achieve objectives.
• Ensure all departments are represented in the risk assessment team.
• Ensure proper implementation of risk assessments, inspections, and corrective actions within the established timelines.
• Minimize environmental impact by adhering to the approved waste management system.

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences
• Over 10 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including at least 4 years in roles with increasing managerial responsibilities.
• Preferred experience and knowledge in some or all of the following areas: Ophthalmology, Prefilled Syringes, Blow Fill Seal Technology, Vaccines, and Biosimilars.
