to join our team In this role you will get to
develop the Program-wide Procurement strategy and ensure it is executed.
What You'll Be Doing
- Develop and implement the QIP procurement strategy and plans.
- Develop Standard operating procedures for the procurement aspects of the program and ensure that QIP follow them so there is operational consistency across the program.
- Provide outreach oversight and provides coaching and guidance to the procurement specialists concerning day to day performance of the work scope.
- Facilitate forming partnerships with key stakeholders and organizations impacted by the program.
- Responsible for internal procurement among our team (including subcontractors).
- Responsible for external procurements, including all major contracts.
- Responsible for working closely with QIC and delivery partners to ensure best for program procurement decisions, including local authorities and key third parties.
- Report procurement challenges and issues to the XSC Business Management Director and develops appropriate resolutions/mitigations as necessary.
- Assign work to employees, oversee, and track the completion of work assignments.
- Interview and select personnel for assignment as required.
- Maintain clear and concise work standards and goals; provides training and development; completes performance evaluations, conducts employee counselling, takes corrective action as necessary.
- Ensure adherence to all corporate, contractual, ethics and safety standards, policies and procedures.
- Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
What Required Skills You Have
- Bachelor degree in an associated technical field
- At least 20 years of related experience in procurement management and commercial settings of major capital works. Professional membership desirable.
- Functional interview essential to establish technical expertise.
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills.
- Strong written and oral communication, organizational, interpersonal skills, and customer service skills are required, both internal and external facing.

- Strong problem-solving skills in ambiguous conditions and can undertake role autonomously and in an environment with minimal processes and procedures.
- Familiarity with SAP, PRSIM and other tools
- Experience preparing pretender estimates and evaluating tender bids
- Experience with alternate project delivery models (DB, DBB, CMA, CMR, etc.)
- Infrastructure experience at major International Contractors, Advisory firms and/or Client Side
- Previous MEA and/or other international experience.

Qiddiya Investment Company is at the forefront of developing a dynamic and innovative residential sector in Saudi Arabia. We are searching for a strategic and results-driven Director - Procurement (Residential) to lead our procurement initiatives within the residential projects segment. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and acquiring materials and services critical for our residential developments while ensuring value, quality, and compliance with organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies tailored to the needs of residential projects.
- Oversee and manage the entire procurement cycle, from pre-qualification of suppliers to contract negotiation and management.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and engineering teams to align procurement activities with project requirements and timelines.
- Maintain and nurture relationships with key suppliers, ensuring high standards of service and product delivery.
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, potential risks, and opportunities for cost savings.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations while promoting ethical purchasing practices.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team, fostering professionalism and continuous improvement.
- Provide regular updates and performance reports to senior management regarding procurement activities and project budgets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- At least 10-15 years of procurement experience within the residential construction or real estate sectors.
- Proven track record of managing complex procurement processes and supplier negotiations.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and guide a team.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills to effectively engage with stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of market dynamics and procurement best practices.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data for decision-making.
- Familiarity with procurement software and contract management systems.
