Qualifications

Job Description

Undertaking the Review of Contractor / Specialist Fit out Company proposals.
- Checking & ensuring suitable logístical provisions are in place to enable the smooth and efficient fit out of the Factory Unit. Ensuring that full co-ordination is in place at all times.
- Ensuring that all Statutory Provisions are fully satisfied required for the fitting out of the Factory Unit.
- Prepare Management Reports as required.
- Conducting research to develop new and improved processes for manufacturing.
- Review the design and plans for equipment layout.
- Troubleshooting problems associated with manufacturing processes.
- Assist the Cost Team to ensure the fit-out works are within the Project Budget.
- Ensure the Factory MEP provisions are sufficiently sized and safely facilitate the fit out works, plant and equipment.
- Ensure suitable ventilation provisions are in place to maintain a safe and comfortable internal factory working environment and removes any undesired outputs such as heat, odors and chemical emissions.
- Ensures that noise emissions both within and out of the factory unit are minimized and kept within safe and statutory required levels.
- Checking the Contractors Method Statement & Timescales for ordering and fit out and advising on any necessary issues.
- Ensure all necessary Client / End User Sign offs are attained within the required timescales.
- Normalize and standardize delivery and installation schedules.
- Identify and mitigate project risks.
- Evaluating processes and equipment to ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
- Supporting the Health & Safety Officer to ensure all necessary Health & Safety Provisions are in place relating to the fit-out works.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor or commensurable with the position.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechnical / Automotive Engineering, Manufacturing, or equivalent.
- Total of 10 years of working experience in a similar role (manufacturing of automotive parts in a leadership or management role).
- Experience of successfully delivering Industrial/Factory Units and/or the fit out of Factory Units.
- Experienced in operation, maintenance and capital improvements in automotive plants and/or related supply chain facilities.
- Ability to think ahead, identify new opportunities and create new and innovative approaches to work-related issues.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Full Membership of an Industry Recognised Manufacturing Professional Body.
