The Role In this role, you will design and deliver DGM's control systems and provide ongoing customer support to ensure reliable performance and world-class customer satisfaction. Your Impact
- Project Technical Lead directly working with external customers delivering projects.
- Design, plan, integrate, test and commission hardware and software requirements on customer systems.
- Evaluate contract specifications and define project requirements through customer communication and communicate the requirements to other departments as necessary.
- Provide networking and system/application design.
- Perform hardware, software and system installation, integration, and testing for projects.
- Customize system, hardware and network configuration based on customer requirements.
- Provide customer support and assistance per contract maintenance and warranty.
- Provide technical sales support of state-of-the-art power systems applications for real-time control systems, including sales presentations and product demonstrations.
- Assist in creating training materials and project documentation as needed.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Systems Engineering or related field.
- Strong technical background in automation and computers with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with electrical utility control systems (SCADA, EMS, GMS, DMS, OMS, DERMS) or experience working in utility operations.
- Experience in one or more of the following: power systems, electric utility operations/dispatch, real-time control systems, client/server applications, network communications, UNIX / Linux / Windows operating systems.
- Experience in software programming and scripting (Python, C / C++).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Mongo, Cassandra).
- Experience with JSON, XML.
- Experience with common utility protocols (ICCP, DNP, MultiSpeak).

Salary and Benefits
The salary range for this role is $115,100.00 - $143,900.00. This range represents what we in good faith believe is the range possible for base compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on several factors. This range may be modified in the future. This role is also eligible for bonus or variable incentive pay. **What You'll Be Doing:**
+ Act as Principal Project Manager for overall coordination and management of any assigned projects.
+ Interface with Master Planning, Engineering, Procurement, F&B, Network Operators, and all other stakeholders, to define the technical design basis, schedule, development Implementation plan, lead efforts, of RFP development, tender bidding, and award, and manage the overall Pre-Award RFP development process and Stakeholders Management, up to and including Award of the project.
+ Participate in negotiations with regulatory agencies and public meetings in support of client.
+ Oversee the establishment of the Project Management Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and other documents as required.
+ Establishes the program implementation requirements, for all areas of the project, and monitors the draft and final deliverables for adherence to those criteria.
+ Responsible for the development and distribution of Project Charter to all members of the project team for reference.
+ Assign responsibility for executing project plans to key subordinates after careful assessment of how to utilize their qualifications and strengths.
+ Provide input into performance reviews and development plans for subordinates.
+ Field responsibilities may include labor relations, local procurement, and payroll operations, etc., if required - Make recommendations to create project teams capable of completing effective, quality work, Discusses the qualifications required of any key project positions in specific detail with the department managers, directors, and section managers.
+ Work with other managers, project engineers, and discipline leads to develop budgets, schedules, and plans for the various elements of a project. Ensures that the project meets or exceeds goals established in these plans.
+ Work with the key project individuals to devise and execute actions plans to rectify potential conflicts, coordination issues, delays, or to accommodate significant changes to the scope of work. Advise the client of any such changes.
+ Promote technical and commercial excellence on the project through application of Quality Assurance processes.
+ Monitor and report to management on the progress of all project activities within the program, including significant milestones, and any conditions, which would affect project cost or schedule.
+ Establish Weekly meetings to review project status and formulate action items.
+ Reporting of projects progress status. - Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**
+ A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering or a related subject.
+ A minimum of 10 years of experience working within the field of Project Management with at least 5 years managing the design and construction of major capital projects.
+ Experience will cover engineering, budgeting, planning, procurement, contracting and scheduling activities.
+ Experience of technical integration as well as procurement and construction activities.
