Reporting to the Country Manager of Saudi Arabia the Technical Solutions Manager – Water Quality Process Analytical Instrumentation is the key front-line actor for strategic industrial and municipal accounts. You are vital to our organization's ability to deliver customer value and drive accelerated growth. You will work within a strong network of dedicated professionals who provide industry-leading customer service and support via Senior Leadership, Sales, Inside Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Technical Support, Project Sales, Bids Team, and Technical Applications professionals.

The Technical Solutions Manager will develop technical awareness around the online /process measurement solutions that Hach provides to each customer, tailored to their specific needs and the industry in which they operate

He will assist the field sales team and respond to customer inquiries about the appropriate solutions. He will also provide incremental suggestions based on the customer's requirements.

What will I do in this role?
The strategic role of Technical Solutions Manager (TSM) is set to create long term added value with the market players in the water quality segment and specifically with the end customers, the contractors and the consultants. The TSM is responsible for driving HACH technology and solutions adoption to accelerate growth in target markets. The TSM participates as an active member of the Sales team, providing tactical execution and strategic direction to expand the HACH footprint in the water market.

Working from a home office, this highly autonomous role requires an entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to develop and execute a collaborative business plan and manage territory as it is one's own business.

You will be responsible for proactively selling to existing and new Industrial customers within a defined geographic territory to drive market penetration and accelerated sales growth. In this role, you will entrepreneurially target the Industrial vertical by engaging in-person to build funnel, prospect for new leads, provide existing customer account management, and project pursuit. You will leverage multiple selling resources including inside sales, distribution channel sales, and other sales resources to create a winning go to market strategy.

A typical day in this role looks like:

• Identifying and pursuing opportunities for business growth by researching market trends, cultivating relationships with potential clients, maintaining good relationship with the current clients, conducting technical session to promote HACH solutions, actively being aware of the water norms and regulations specific to each individual sector applicable in Saudi industries, development of sales strategy and plans in coordination with key company stakeholders. Bechtel has managed the Jubail project, located in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, since it began in the mid-1970s. Bechtel serves as the Management Services Contractor (MSC), or “owner’s representative” for our client, the Royal Commission (RC). We are the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) managers, managing design submissions from local AE firms, and overseeing the actual construction work being performed by local contractors and sub-contractors in Jubail and Ras-Al-Khair Industrial Cities. In June 2021, Bechtel’s contract with the Royal Commission was renewed for another 5 years with work focusing on building new residential communities, iconic buildings/ bridges, major site preparation, commercial buildings, mosques, schools, hospitals, sports facilities, clinics, universities, utility services and infrastructure (electrical sub-stations, lift stations), roads and highways, port & pipeline expansions, and more.

In this role, you will help conduct environmental engineering studies, prepare impact reports for new construction projects, evaluate proposed regulations, and develop procedures. You will conduct routine investigations, compile and analyze data, and maintain technical records. Your collaboration efforts and application of environmental engineering principles and techniques will contribute to project success.

• Provide assistance in managing the environmental assessment studies for Ras-Al-Khair Industrial City including:
• Formulation of the scope and management the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) studies and deliverables.
• Managing the development of the environmental management program for the two cities, and assisting the Royal Commission in the implementation of the program.
• Establishing contract specific environmental requirements.
• Review of contractor environmental credentials at prequalification and tender.
• Liaison with Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu.
• Ensuring that contractor environmental management plans meet contract and Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu requirements, and that contractors are complying with the requirements of their environmental management plans.

• Provide client with expert opinion on miscellaneous environmental issues.

• 5 years of relevant experience in large facility/ infrastructure projects in the following areas: permitting, environmental regulatory compliance (air, water, soil, waste), assessment of environmental impact, site investigations and field surveys, source monitoring, and monitoring of the ambient environment.
• Experience in one of the following primary industries: petroleum refining, metals (smelting, rolling, alloys), and power plants.
• Fluent in English Language both oral and written communication.
• Strong Communication and Presentation skills
• Working within an integrated team with a diverse mixture of nationalities and cultures.

• Strong background managing the development of complex environmental technical studies.
• Experience in performing air dispersion modeling (AERMOD and CALPUFF)
