Carrying out Engineering and Airworthiness requirements relating to aircraft engines and APUs. This includes liaising with internal departments, external manufacturers and subcontracted MROs on all matters relating to the required Power plant engineering.

Functional
  • Participating in the technical evaluation, purchase and lease of engines and APU’s.
  • Managing engines leasing accounts and monitor end-of-lease requirements, including maintenance reserves
  • Engines and APU’s SV Cost Control including warranty claims, maintenance reserves and budgeting

  • Fleet management - Manage All engines and APUs in the fleet
  • Support Aircraft redelivery team to resolving queries
Operational
  • Periodically obtain and evaluate for all AD’s, SB’s for engines and APU’s. and define them in AMOS
  • Review engine trend monitoring, oil consumption and engine history in case of issued CNRs /advisories and Pilot/MCC reports on engine /APU issues
  • Forecasting the removal plans for all engines and APU’s on weekly basis .
  • Preparation of shop visit work scopes for engines and APU’s. and monitor SV progress till completion.
  • Liaison with aircraft manufacturer/OEM regarding any issue.
  • Reviewing Engines & APU’s SV documentation, AD/SB Status, LLP data, LLP Back to Birth documentation, analyzing engine trend data to establish the condition of the engines. Ensure all the data in the AMOS related to engines and APU is entered correctly.

The Plant Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all products and processes within the manufacturing plant meet internal, customer, and regulatory quality standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes, procedures, and documentation for incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products
  • Conduct inspections and tests according to Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and ensure all quality documentation is up to date and compliant with project and regulatory requirements
  • Collect, analyze, and summarize process and product data; prepare and submit regular quality reports to senior management
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action teams to resolve quality issues related to customer complaints, supplier non-conformance, and internal production problems
  • Participate in internal and external audits, and follow up on non-conformity reports to ensure timely closure and continuous improvement
  • Review and update quality assurance procedures, work instructions, and operational policies to align with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards3.
  • Monitor calibration and maintenance of testing and measuring equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards

Qualifications And Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or related field)
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial plant environment in Saudi Arabia
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001), statistical process control, and root cause analysis
  • Experience with quality tools such as PPAP, APQP, MSA, and SPC is highly desirable
  • Proficiency in data analysis, report writing, and use of Microsoft Office and quality management software
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills; fluency in English required, Arabic is an advantage
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work under pressure

Job Description

  • Deliver, install and work in manholes and conduit ducting systems.
  • Deliver, install, pull, and test fiber optic, copper, and coaxial cabling.Terminate, splice, test, maintain, and repair fiber optic (including fusion splicing), copper, and coaxial cabling.
  • Install interior fiber, copper, and coaxial cabling.
  • Deliver, install fiber optic modems, multiplex equipment, patch panels, main and intermediate distribution frames, lightning protection, and supporting ground and power connections.
  • Install cabinets, cable ladder and rack systems, and equipment components in cabinet.
  • Provide access to buried communication cable and digging/chiseling trenches.

Qualifications

  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of at least 3 years in U.S. Military Schools in Electronic Communications Equipment/Systems and achieved Grade E-5 or equivalent or completion of a Commercial Trade School or job training equivalent.
  • Must have at least 3 years of experience of inside plant operation and maintenance experience, installation, testing, and repair of telecommunications equipment and systems within the last 10 years.
  • Must have at least 3 years of experience in telecommunications installation, maintenance, repair, and testing of multiple conductors, aerial, underground, and buried multi- purpose communications cable to include coaxial and fiber optic cable.
  • Must have at least 3 years of experience working with the following:

    What are my responsibilities?
    • Develop the Contractor's Baseline Schedule of works according to contract requirements.
    • Ensure project resources are compatible and sufficient for the timely completion of the project.
    • Coordinate planning and scheduling needs with respective Project Managers in a matrix organization structure.
    • Finalize the project baseline schedule in coordination with internal management and Project Consultants.
    • Develop a Master Schedule that integrates multiple packages while considering interdependencies.
    • Evaluate and verify planning and scheduling data, identifying potential areas of delay or slippage.
    • Suggest mitigation measures and corrective actions for any scheduling issues.
    • Prepare regular progress reports and monthly reports, including program analysis and recommendations for addressing program issues.
    • Coordinate with contractors and employers to resolve planning and scheduling problems.
    • Attend meetings and prepare concise, accurate meeting minutes.
    • Develop trackers/logs to monitor critical issues during the Design and Construction stages.
    • Provide reasoned and analytic responses to contractor notices and maintain proper records.
    • Issue delay notices for contractor delays and performance issues, documenting areas where the contractor’s performance is behind schedule.
    • Demonstrate entitlement to Extensions of Time (EOT) due to delays or disruptions.
    • Assist in preparing project schedules and histogram proposals for tender bids.
    • Continuously evaluate and improve planning processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.
    • Communicate effectively, conduct presentations, and interface with diverse professional teams.
    • Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, security, environmental, and quality standards, adhering to all relevant regulations and best practices to maintain a safe and secure work environment.
    What do I need to qualify for the role?
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
    • Expertise in Primavera P6 for project planning and scheduling.
    • Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in Planning & Scheduling, specifically in Airport Baggage Handling or Cargo Handling Systems.
    • Knowledge of FIDIC contract terms is an advantage.
    • Proven experience delivering Delay Analysis exercises, Dashboards, and Management Presentations.
    • Thorough understanding of industry-standard software applications.
    • Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, REVIT, and Navisworks.
    • Hands-on knowledge of PLC systems is an advantage.
    • Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to engage internal and external stakeholders.
    • Experience working in multicultural environments is beneficial.
    • Willingness to work on projects outside of the UAE.
