This is an exciting opportunity to join Novo Nordisk as a Medical Sales Representative, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and directly reporting to the Senior District Sales Manager.
**The Position**
You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing the business plan for your geographical area, which will be the Central Region for the insulin portfolio and covering the public sector, to ensure that the company objectives and sales targets are achieved. You will measure, track, evaluate, and present key metrics: prescription depth and breadth planning.
You are expected to contribute to the national business plan by achieving targets through the implementation of marketing and promotion strategies aimed at effectively presenting and promoting Novo Nordisk product(s) to healthcare practitioners.
The role will require you to take an entrepreneurial approach, and you will be expected to operate with a high level of ownership.
You are expected to demonstrate a high level of understanding of customer needs, anticipate and adapt action plans to maximize opportunities, and address challenges, excelling in making things happen through diligent and timely follow-up. Work across different external stakeholders, including but not limited to KOLs, physicians, pharmacists, and hospital management.
**Qualifications**
We expect you to hold a bachelor's degree in pharmacy, and you are certified to work by holding the Saudi Council Licence. You also have 1-2 years of experience in sales within the pharmaceutical industry. Also, intermediate computer skills are required (Windows, Word, and Excel); prior computer experience using sales data or call reporting software will be ideal. You have an excellent command of both written and spoken English, a valid driving license, and the willingness to travel.

- We expect you to be a self-starter, one who can evaluate options and find resolutions on your own with mínimal supervision.
- You have an aptitude for learning and the ability to communicate technical and scientific product and disease management information, as well as a value proposition for the product(s) under your responsibility.
