**Essential Responsibilities and Duties**:
1.Assists in retrieving scheduled patient charts by clinics, transferring and confirming the records using chart tracking system, and delivering and collecting records to/from the clinics and refiling them as assigned.
2. Assists in sorting and filing loose documents in the records, performing Repair and Volume procedures, and creating folders for new charts as directed.
3. Assists in retrieving and returning from/ to warehouse and Inactive/ Expired Records areas, and other areas/sections of Medical Records Services, delivers and picks up records from bus stop, and transfers records to Medical Records - Riyadh and Jeddah Branch as required.
4. Assists in performing all related functions for retrieval for Emergency and walk-in patients’ charts.
5. Searches for missing files and uses the Overdue Reports, as needed.
6. Provides customer-service to Research & Study chart Reviews while retrieving records in a timely manner.
7. Covers reception desk, greets customers, answers phone calls and takes clear and concise messages. Copies, sorts and numbers documents.
8. Maintains accurate permanent files by sorting, cleaning and auditing as necessary, keeps the file area neat and organized, and helps with the filing.
9. Assists in monitoring patient request queue to retrieve records, and responds to requests from Patient Services, Protocol Services and Chief Operating Officer Office as required.
10. Raises issues of concern with appropriate supervisor/team leader.
11. Follows all Hospital related policies and procedures.
12. Participates in self and other’s education, training and development, as applicable.
13. Performs any other related duties as assigned.
**Education**:
Associate Degree/ Diploma in Hospital / Business Administration or other related discipline; or High School Education is required.
**Experience Required**:
No experience required with Associate Degree/Diploma (on-job training), or one (1) year of related patient services experience with High School Education is required.

1. Assists the Medical Eligibility and Patient Acceptance Center staff in solving patient problems and facilitating the daily operation of the department. Reviews and monitors work in progress and after completion, ensures that it meets hospital standards.
2. Participates in department activities and adheres to hospital related policies and procedures and implementation.

**Education**:
Bachelor's degree in Hospital Administration. Or Master's Degree in Hospital Administration.

Four (4) years of related experience including with Bachelor's Degree. Or two (2) years for related experience including with Master's Degree.

Summary :
The Medical Assistant role provides clinical and administrative support for patients under the direction of a Provider and/or licensed Nurse.
Responsibilities :
- Prepares patients for examination; takes and records vital signs; performs phlebotomy as needed; administers medications as directed by the Providers according to policy and procedure
- Collects data that contributes to the assessment and evaluation of individualized care and needs of assigned patients, including discharge plans, under the direction of the Licensed Nurse
- Collects, processes, and submits laboratory specimens in accordance with policy and procedure
- Communicates patient findings and pertinent information to the Provider and/or Licensed Nurse utilizing appropriate communication/documentation processes
- Accurate and timely documentation of care within EPIC system
- Performs point-of-service activities such as appointment scheduling, visit preparation, co-payment collection and patient tracking as needed
- Performs clinical duties that are department specific such as POCT, hearing and vision screenings, and any other procedures
- Performs routine task and general office duties such as faxing, copying, filing, etc. as needed
- Cleans, stocks, and prepares examination rooms
- Develops and maintains positive relationships with patients, families, and colleagues
- Follows safety policies and procedures in the delivery of care to assure a safe environment for patients, families, and other staff members

Other information:
Technical Expertise
- Experience in phlebotomy is preferred.
- Knowledge of and experience in medical terminology is required.
- Experience working in healthcare environment is preferred.
- Experience working in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) or similar software is required.
- Experience working in electronic medical record (i.e., EPIC) or similar software is preferred.
Education and Experience
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Completion of an approved (valid) Medical Assistant Program, EMT Program, or Paramedic Program is required.
- Certification:Basic Life Support (BLS) training from the American Heart Association is required.
- Certification: Medical Assistant certification preferred.
