Boeing Saudi Arabia is looking for a Supply Chain Specialist - Inventory Management to be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia .The on-site personnel will serve as Supply Chain Specialist - Inventory Management for the RAMP Program and provide support at the Boeing Warehouse for the 707 RAMP Program contract requirements. This role involves providing supply support inventory management services at Riyadh locations, including monitoring logistic systems performance, conducting research, and providing logistical assistance to support operational objectives.

Position Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will perform the following duties:

  • Plan, commit, and control the deployment of resources in response to customer, program, and business requirements in conjunction with direction from the Project or Program Manager and BSA office.

  • Lead the development, integration, implementation, and management of new or revised plans, strategies, or processes.

  • Maintain status information of program and customer commitments and monitor compliance to plan.

  • Interface with management throughout the Enterprise for coordination of status/tasks.

  • Track inductions and provide status

  • Perform technical research using Boeing, USAF, and RSAF technical publications, databases, and supply chain-related documents.

  • Act as liaison between RSAF, USAF, and Boeing.

  • Provide reporting to the Boeing Oklahoma (OKC) program office as required by the contract.

  • Create, edit, and maintain electronic and written communication.

  • Prepare reports, presentations, and flow charts.

  • Process incoming and outgoing communication and correspondence to ensure proper dissemination of information.

  • Coordinate with 707 RAMP Program leadership to gain approval. Collect, organize, and provide data according to established processes to maintain status of customer and supplier commitments and compliance.

  • Participate in the receiving and dispatching process along with the 3PL supplier

  • Verify the integrity of the inventory and supervise the supplier personnel.

  • Monitor the logistic systems performance. Collaborate with company organizations to identify and resolve system issues.

  • Conduct research and provide logistical assistance to support operational objectives.

  • Assist in researching, identifying, and resolving Repair pipeline inventory discrepancies.

  • Perform any other tasks requested by management.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

  • Diploma in Supply Chain/ or Mechanic

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in Supply Chain management

  • Fluency in Arabic and English

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

  • 2+ years of experience communicating and interacting with a customer or supplier

  • Previous experience supporting military Customers is beneficial

This requisition is for an international, locally hired position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S.-based payroll and will commensurate with experience and qualifications and in accordance with applicable Saudi law. As the Saudi Arabia Supply Chain Manager, you’ll work closely with commercial team, regulatory, quality, finance & operations teams / departments, as well as third party logistics, cluster, area & global colleagues in the EPD division.

What You’ll Do :

  • Partner with affiliate Leadership team to drive sales, growth and margin improvement
  • Responsible for developing and implementing country supply chain strategies supporting all financial, operational, quality and regulatory aspects
  • Build up and maintain supply chain country strategic roadmap, ensure that processes meet and reflect EPD overall expectations
  • Responsible for implementing all Supply Chain planning policies : procedures and practices in the market.
  • Responsible for driving supply chain effectiveness, with full accountability on E2E SC process.
  • Key contributor in Biosimilars localization projects evaluation and implementation.
  • Work with TPM leader on TPM selection, capacity reservation to ensure supply security.
  • Partner with TPMs to ensure supply security while building a strong relationship with internal & external stakeholders.
  • Monitor stock levels of APIs & bulk items at TPMs to avoid out-of-stock situations and ensure safety stocks are maintained.
  • Regularly monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery of materials from APO to TPMs.
  • Plan and optimize the monthly supply replenishment : Monthly planning of production orders & updating the replenishment plan on SAP, ensuring alignment with business objectives, demand forecast, and inventory strategies for all products (API, finished products & bulk items).
  • Monitor demand changes to ensure supply plans are realistic, adequate and includes contingency plans in such a challenging environment.
  • Supply Review and Communication : Lead the monthly supply review and share updates with concerned departments.
  • Lead all communications with Planning Centers & supply planners as the main operating link with the Commercial Affiliate.
  • Backorder Management : Weekly backorder reporting and follow-up with planners for BO resolution.
  • Coordination with RA Department : on annual importation plans, special import permits, and artwork changes to ensure supply is uninterrupted.
  • Tender business : Supply Planning to ensure timely deliveries under strict authorities, penalty risk.
  • Ensure Safety-stocks are adequate to avoid stockout or expiries & align with concerned departments like Finance, Trade and Operations to meet cash flow goal.
  • DI Management : Partner with commercial, Demand and finance teams on Distressed inventory forecasting and monitoring, mitigation of risks ex : communication of short dated stocks to mitigate write offs.
  • Inventory Reconciliation : Manage inventory levels and stock reconciliations by ensuring system parameters are correctly set up.
  • Acts as a key business partner with commercial team to ensure a cost effective & agile supply chain is maintained, ex : freight mode, warehousing, container utilization, discontinuation initiatives, change of source, MOQ revision, ….
  • Support in monthly LBE achievement, proactively highlights risks & provide gap mitigation recommendations.
  • Provide shipment plan to APO in M-1 to secure containers booking and align on risk / opportunities and Weekly Call alignment on progress.
  • Monitor Supply Chain Indicators and metrics to measure TPMs performance (On-time In-full, Supply Adherence, Capacity Constraints) in accordance with SOPs.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels to achieve organizational goals
  • Accountable on compliance with applicable audit and divisional policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Statistics, Pharmacy or Business Administration.
  • 10-12 years’ experience in the Supply chain field with Minimum 3 years of managerial experience

The Supply Chain Manager will be based in Riyadh in Nextracker office. In this position, you will report to the Supply Chain Director . Nextracker is seeking a Supply Chain Manager in Saudi Arabia to develop and manage its local supply chain as local supply is highly strategic.

The Sourcing department is responsible for driving the Total Cost of Ownership through deploying category/region/supplier-specific strategies and establishing strategic relationships with core suppliers.

He/She will also be responsible for ensuring proper planning and correct execution of contracts through raw material planning, capacity management and demand review. He/She will also provide local KSA support to the Supply Chain Operations team by performing suppliers expediting activities (including shop expediting, as needed) as well as logistic support activities.

  • Analyze markets and perform supplier screening and qualification
  • Prepare and manage Requests for Quotation (RFQs)
  • Assess supplier performance on a quarterly basis, champion supplier performance management, conduct regular evaluations, site visits, and feedback reviews
  • Visit frequently suppliers and keep track of execution performance
  • Work in close collaboration with the Supply Chain Operations team and provide them with local support/representation, as needed.
