Chief Operating Officer (COO)
to join our Saudi Arabia branch. The COO will oversee all operational aspects of the branch, ensuring effective implementation of business strategies, adherence to regulatory requirements, and delivery of exceptional banking services.
This role is central to managing core banking operations, trade finance, payments (including international remittances, SARIE, SADAD, and SWIFT), compliance oversight, and client service delivery. The COO will also drive digital banking transformation, operational efficiency, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of operational strategies aligned with the branch's business goals and TBI's overall vision.
- Oversee daily banking operations, including:

- Payments: International remittances, SARIE (RTGS), SADAD, and SWIFT operations.
- Treasury & Cash Management: Ensuring liquidity and efficient settlement processes.
- Ensure full compliance with Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) regulations, Iraqi HQ policies, and international banking standards.
- Establish and monitor operational KPIs, reporting to senior management and recommending improvements.
- Oversee implementation and optimization of core banking systems and payment channels to ensure efficiency and scalability.
- Collaborate with the CEO on business development, strategic partnerships, and product innovation.
- Manage operational risks, implementing robust internal controls and ensuring AML/KYC compliance.

Applicant Requirements
- Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Banking, or a related field. MBA or professional certifications (ACIB, CFA, or equivalent) is a plus. - Experience:
- Minimum 10 years in banking operations, with at least 3 years in an executive/senior leadership role.
- Proven track record in trade finance operations and payment systems (SARIE, SADAD, SWIFT, international remittances).
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of SAMA regulations, AML/KYC frameworks, SARIE & SADAD operations, and international trade finance practices.
