Responsibilities (What will you do)
• Follow up site logbook, understand scope of work as per contract.
• Make the necessary tests and measurements to hand over the work to the consultant.
• Resolve issues related to electric systems or devices that arise during construction.
• Monitor & supervise all the installation activities at sites, including lighting works, Power system for HVAC system, lighting fixtures, Panel boards (main - sub - distribution - motor control center), low current systems and make coordination between all low current systems.
• Implement and monitor BMS works (to make coordination between all mechanical and electrical works at operation.
• Supervise technicians with their technical requirements, during cable termination, tagging, ferruling, cable dressing etc. as per approved drawings, to maintain good quality.
• Assist testing team at site, with their requirements to get fulfilled at the earliest.
• Implement and monitor BMS works (to make coordination between all mechanical and electrical works at operation.
• Coordinate with electrical QA/QC for drawing modifications, red markup, etc.
• Attend meetings to resolve issues related to HSE, Projects etc.
• Report the daily progress report/ work status to consultant /Management as per required.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Electrical System Design & Planning:

- Review and interpret architectural, structural, and mechanical plans to integrate electrical requirements seamlessly. Perform load calculations, voltage drop assessments, and equipment sizing to optimize system efficiency.

2. Project Execution & Installation Oversight:
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems and ensure they adhere to the approved design.

4. Procurement & Resource Management:
- Identify and select electrical materials, components, and equipment required for the project.
- Work closely with procurement teams to source materials that meet quality, budget, and timeline requirements.
- Maintain an inventory of electrical supplies and coordinate with vendors to minimize project delays.
5. Quality Control & Testing:
- Conduct inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure functionality and compliance with project specifications.
- Oversee the commissioning process, including continuity tests, insulation resistance tests, and performance checks of equipment.
- Prepare reports documenting test results and identifying any deficiencies or corrective actions.
6. Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, materials used, and work performed.
- Prepare technical documentation such as as-built drawings, inspection reports, and operation manuals.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for project stakeholders, highlighting milestones, challenges, and solutions.
7. Stakeholder Coordination & Communication:

- Serve as a liaison between clients, contractors, and consultants, addressing concerns and providing regular updates.
- Attend project meetings to discuss progress, share insights, and plan upcoming activities.

Qualifications:
Education
:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred for senior roles).
Experience
:
- Minimum 5-7 years of hands-on experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on construction projects.
- Proven experience managing electrical installations on large-scale commercial sites.
Certifications
:
- Licensed Saudi Council of Engineer (SCE) or equivalent certification (preferred but not mandatory based on regional requirements).
