Role Summary
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Marketing Assistant will support strategic growth across the region. This role is ideal for a motion graphics artist with strong visual design sense, event coordination skills and a passion for clean, impactful communication. You will contribute to high-impact marketing initiatives, from social media management to event coordination and vendor collaboration. The role offers significant opportunity for professional development within Yellow Door Energy.
Key ResponsibilitiesKRA 1: Arabic Content and Saudi Localization Lead
- Translate short passages to Arabic (mostly for social media), proofread and edit Arabic language content;
- Ensure that the company’s Arabic language content is accurate across different marketing documents and channels;
- Ensure appropriate Saudi localization of content across marketing channels;
- Be the sole person responsible for the company’s marketing materials in Arabic.
KRA 2: Event Coordination and Lead Generation
- Organize events by managing logistics, coordinating with vendors, customers, and various stakeholders before, during and after event;
- Ensure events meet department and company objectives, such as lead generation and brand awareness goals;
- Attend events and represent Yellow Door Energy as brand ambassador, speak with prospective customers, liaise with the media, etc. as needed;
- Pitch Yellow Door Energy representatives to speak at key events;
- Develop campaign ideas and implement them to generate leads and raise brand awareness.
KRA 3: Content Development for Sales Materials and Social Media
- Update and create sales materials such as brochures, proposals, presentations (some basic graphic design knowledge; more intensive design work coordinated with a graphic designer);
- Create content (presentations, briefing notes) for speakers; nominate the company for awards, etc.;
- Develop content for social media and work with a digital agency to create graphics, videos, etc.
KRA 4: Stakeholder Management
- Manage photographers, videographers, agencies, printing companies, etc. to achieve marketing goals;
- Provide ad hoc marketing support to the rest of the marketing team as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Marketing or similar (PR, Media, Visual Communications)
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Events coordination experience
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Excellent written and spoken Arabic
- Experience and comfort with generating leads through event attendance, emailing/calling, meeting prospective customers
- Experience in agency or similar role managing multiple projects and customers
- Demonstrated creativity and ability to distill technical content into digestible materials
- Highly organized, with good attention to detail, responsive with a sense of urgency
- Quick learner with ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- High level of self-awareness and openness to feedback
- Strong collaboration skills and willingness to learn from others
