1.متابعة تطبيق تعليمات وأنظمة السلامة الصناعية داخل أقسام المصنع المختلفة (مثل خطوط الإنتاج، المستودعات، مناطق التحميل والتخزين).

2.القيام بجولات تفقدية يومية على صالات الإنتاج وأماكن العمل للتأكد من الالتزام بإجراءات السلامة وتقليل فرص وقوع الحوادث.

3.التأكد من عمل أجهزة الإنذار ومعدات الإطفاء الآلي واليدوي (مثل طفايات الحريق، أنظمة الرش، كواشف الدخان)، وتوثيق أعمال الصيانة الدورية لها.

4.الإشراف على استخدام معدات الحماية الشخصية (PPE) والتأكد من التزام العمال باستخدامها (مثل: خوذة الرأس، الكمامات، القفازات، الأحذية الواقية، واقيات السمع).

5.فحص الآلات والمعدات من منظور السلامة، والإبلاغ عن أي خلل قد يشكل خطرًا على العاملين.

6.متابعة تطبيق نظام قفل/وضع بطاقة (LOTO) عند إجراء أعمال الصيانة أو الإصلاحات على المعدات الكهربائية أو الميكانيكية.

7.التحقيق في الحوادث المهنية والإصابات داخل المصنع، وتحليل الأسباب الجذرية، وتقديم توصيات لمنع تكرارها.

8.إعداد التقارير الدورية لإدارة المصنع حول مؤشرات السلامة، ونسب الحوادث، والمخالفات، والتدريبات المنفذة.

9.تدريب العاملين بشكل دوري على إجراءات السلامة، التعامل مع الحرائق، الإخلاء السريع، والتعامل مع المواد الكيميائية إن وُجدت.

10.متابعة تخزين ونقل المواد الخطرة أو القابلة للاشتعال داخل المصنع والتأكد من الالتزام باللوائح البيئية والسلامة الخاصة بها.

11.ضمان وضوح علامات السلامة والإرشادات على الأرضيات، الممرات، نقاط الخروج، وأماكن المعدات.

12.مراقبة جودة التهوية والإضاءة ودرجة الحرارة في بيئة العمل حسب متطلبات الصحة والسلامة المهنية.

13.الإشراف على خطة الطوارئ والإخلاء، وتنظيم تدريبات فعلية بشكل دوري للتأكد من جاهزية الموظفين.

14.التنسيق مع الدفاع المدني أو الجهات الرقابية عند تنفيذ حملات التفتيش أو تقييم الجاهزية للطوارئ.

15.مراجعة خطط الإنتاج الجديدة أو إدخال معدات جديدة للتأكد من توافقها مع متطلبات السلامة قبل التشغيل.

16.الإشراف على سلامة عمليات الرفع والمناولة (سواء بالرافعات الشوكية أو اليدوية) وتقييم مخاطر التحميل والتخزين.

17.مراقبة الانبعاثات الصناعية والتلوث البيئي الناجم عن العمليات الإنتاجية، والتأكد من مطابقتها للمعايير البيئية والصحية.

18.المشاركة في إعداد سياسة السلامة للمصنع وتحديث إجراءات التشغيل القياسية (SOPs) من منظور السلامة.

19.إدارة ملفات وسجلات السلامة بما يشمل: سجلات الحوادث، تقارير التفتيش، التدريبات، التصاريح، وصيانة معدات الطوارئ.

20.تعزيز ثقافة السلامة داخل المصنع عبر المبادرات التوعوية، واللوحات الإرشادية، والحوافز للموظفين الملتزمين.

Responsibilities • Promote appropriate behaviour and protect the welfare of students, faculty and staff • Support the College SMT with the HSE Policy and Guidance and maintain OHSAS 18001 compliance. • Conduct daily safety tours within the college and ensure non-conformities are communicated. • Provide accident or incident data to Head of Health & Safety in a timely manner. • Record and investigate incidents to determine causes and help prevent re-occurrence. • Conduct in-house and commercial training i.e. Fire Safety, Manual Handling, and First Aid training. • Conduct Safety meeting weekly/Quarterly as appropriate. • Ensure regular emergency response exercises and drills are conducted to ensure the highest level of preparedness in any emergency. Maintains records of such drills, providing recommendations for emergency response improvements. • Complete Risk Assessments and assist managers in completing them i.e. pregnancy and DSE Risk Assessments. • Supervises the regular inspection of firefighting, safety and emergency response equipment. • Ensure all new starters receive a site induction and complete ILEI’s online Health & Safety training modules. • Drive the implementation of programs and initiatives to foster a strong HSE culture. • Deliver and continuously improve HSE management systems and compliance programs. • Organize and Chair the HSE Committee Meetings. • Ensure the information on the safety notice board is relevant and up to date, including H&S Policy, hot topics, first aiders and fire wardens.

Requirements
* UK work experience is highly preferred • University degree in H&S or equivalent • NEBOSH IGC/NGC or equivalent. • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Health & Safety. • Computer literate • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to present and explain Health & Safety topics to SMT. • Experience in report writing Desirable • Working knowledge in Health, Safety Management Systems OHSAS 18001. • Experience of delivering Health & Safety courses, in particular fire safety and first aid. • Qualification in Accident and incident investigation UK work experience is highly preferred

Meso Saudi Arabia, looking for a Safety Officer to join our team. You will ensure that workforce operating at the client’s mine site complies with Metso’s internal safety procedures and the client’s HSE regulations. The Safety Officer will drive proactive safety practices, demonstrate compliance with client expectations, and foster a culture of continuous safety improvement. Performance will be measured using key safety metrics including CCV, LSR compliance, VFL engagement, and behavioral observations.

This position will be located at remote site in Saudi Arabia and you will be working in rotation basis.

What You’ll Do


  • Enforce Metso’s HSE policies and ensure full adherence to the client’s HSE standards, including Life-Saving Rules (LSRs).
  • Ensure the implementation and tracking of Critical Control Verification (CCV) for all high-risk activities.
  • Participate in daily HSE coordination meetings with the client and support joint inspections.
  • Monitor the site continuously for unsafe conditions, behaviors, or deviations from approved safety procedures.
  • Track and report safety KPIs including:
  • CCV compliance rate
  • LSR violations and interventions
  • VFL (Visible Felt Leadership) engagements and leadership walkthroughs
  • Behavior-based safety observations (positive and at-risk)
  • Submit daily, weekly, and monthly HSE reports to both Metso management and the client, reflecting performance against KPIs.
  • Deliver site-specific HSE inductions and toolbox talks to all new metso workforce members and subcontractors.
  • Reinforce understanding and application of LSRs through regular briefings and scenario-based learning.
  • Promote awareness of CCV procedures and actively participate in coaching sessions and safety campaigns.
  • Lead and document JSAs, HIRAs, and PTWs for Metso-controlled activities.
  • Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe acts involving Metso personnel; conduct Root Cause Analysis and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Ensure timely close-out of all action items raised through the observation system or client audits.
  • Support VFL programs by participating in and facilitating leadership engagements and safety interactions.
  • Coordinate emergency drills and verify that all emergency equipment is compliant and functional.
  • Serve as a key contact for emergency response coordination with the client


Who you are:


  • Minimum 3 years in a safety role within mining, construction, or heavy industry.
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
  • Direct experience working on client-controlled sites with LSR and CCV implementation.
  • Previous HSE experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Experience in OSHA, MSHA, DOT standards.
