**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
KAPSARC seeks a passionate expert to contribute to its Knowledge and Analysis Program in Utilities and Renewables and to support advisory services. The role involves, among other duties, conducting strategic and regulatory analyses of policies in the rapidly evolving electricity sector including the roles and responsibilities of regulatory organizations, utilities, and other stakeholders, renewable regulatory strategy and organization, commercial nuclear power assessment and deployment, and digitalization and cybersecurity policy.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the qualitative and quantitative analysis of institutional, regulatory, and economic dimensions of the electric power sector covering regulators, utilities, renewable energy, commercial nuclear power, and digitalization and cybersecurity policies.
- Design, conduct and disseminate Knowledge and Analysis products through effective communication approaches including workshops, webinars, papers, and presentations that meet the needs of stakeholders.
- Carry out cutting edge analyses using state-of-the-art qualitative and quantitative techniques via case studies, statistical analyses, international comparisons, and strategic assessments.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in qualitative and quantitative research, preferably within a research or international organization.
- Thorough knowledge of the electric power sector with direct experience with regulatory strategy and organization, commercial nuclear power, and digitalization issues.
- Strong experience in developing evidence-based public policy.
- Strong experience in drafting, editing and producing evidence-based policy papers, working papers, reports and other publications.
- Strong communication skills, an enthusiastic team player, and excellent time management and problem-solving skills.

**Qualifications**:

- A Master’s or Ph.D. degree in energy policy, energy economics, power engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 8 years’ professional experience with energy utility regulation.
- Excellent command of the English language (spoken and written).

Our Power Division is expanding, and we are seeking an experienced Indoor Sales Specialist to drive growth in our international mechanical and electrical spare-parts portfolio for power plants across Saudi Arabia, You will be the go-to technical sales resource inside our Dammam headquarters, supporting field teams, nurturing key accounts, and ensuring our customers receive the right parts, on time, every time.

Key Responsibilities :

Grow Strategic Accounts: Nurture relationships , O&M teams, and utility companies to secure repeat business and expand our share .

Leverage Global OEM Knowledge: Identify, cross-match, and upsell parts from leading OEMs (e.g., GE, Siemens Energy, Mitsubishi, Alstom, Ansaldo) for turbines, generators, pumps, and balance-of-plant equipment.

Solution Selling: Recommend equivalent or upgraded parts that reduce downtime and total cost of ownership, backed by solid technical justification.

Supplier & Pricing Negotiation: Engage international vendors to secure best pricing, lead times, and terms; prepare margin analyses for management approval.

Pipeline & Forecast Management: Maintain accurate opportunity pipeline in CRM, issue weekly sales forecasts, and report KPIs (order intake, hit rate, delivery performance).

Cross-Functional Coordination: Liaise daily with logistics, finance, and quality teams to ensure timely shipments, compliant documentation, and swift issue resolution.

Market Intelligence: Monitor KSA power-sector projects, overhaul schedules, and competitor moves; share insights with the Division Head to refine sales strategy.

About the Role


Our Power Division is expanding, and we are seeking an experienced Indoor Sales Specialist to drive growth in our international mechanical and electrical spare-parts portfolio for power plants across Saudi Arabia, You will be the go-to technical sales resource inside our Dammam headquarters, supporting field teams, nurturing key accounts, and ensuring our customers receive the right parts, on time, every time.

You will join a high-performing Power team and report directly to the Division Head.


Key Responsibilities :

  • Drive Indoor Sales Cycle: Receive inquiries, prepare competitive quotations, close orders, and coordinate delivery for mechanical spare parts used in Saudi power-generation plants.

  • Grow Strategic Accounts: Nurture relationships , O&M teams, and utility companies to secure repeat business and expand our share .

  • Leverage Global OEM Knowledge: Identify, cross-match, and upsell parts from leading OEMs (e.g., GE, Siemens Energy, Mitsubishi, Alstom, Ansaldo) for turbines, generators, pumps, and balance-of-plant equipment.

  • Solution Selling: Recommend equivalent or upgraded parts that reduce downtime and total cost of ownership, backed by solid technical justification.

  • Supplier & Pricing Negotiation: Engage international vendors to secure best pricing, lead times, and terms; prepare margin analyses for management approval.

  • Pipeline & Forecast Management: Maintain accurate opportunity pipeline in CRM, issue weekly sales forecasts, and report KPIs (order intake, hit rate, delivery performance).

  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Liaise daily with logistics, finance, and quality teams to ensure timely shipments, compliant documentation, and swift issue resolution.

  • Market Intelligence: Monitor KSA power-sector projects, overhaul schedules, and competitor moves; share insights with the Division Head to refine sales strategy.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years’ proven experience in sales of mechanical & electrical spare parts specifically for power-plant applications (steam, gas, or combined-cycle).

  • Solid network of customers within Saudi electricity & power-generation sector.

  • Strong technical understanding of major OEMs (e.g., Siemens Energy, GE, Mitsubishi, ABB, Schneider Electric).

  • Fluent in English; professional working proficiency in Arabic is a distinct advantage.

  • Proficient with ERP/CRM platforms (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and MS Office.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering—or equivalent commercial discipline with strong technical aptitude.

  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
