Job Overview:

• Your purpose will be: To assist with maintaining and improving the physical appearance and operational efficiency of the hotel including physical, mechanical, electrical and plumbing

Essential Job Functions:

• Maintain positive guest relations at all times, resolve guest complaints, and ensure guest satisfaction. Greet guests in a courteous and caring manner using personalized service.
• To respond to all guest repair and departmental repair requests promptly

• 3 – 5 years engineering background
• Basic plumbing and electrical (supported by qualified electrician).

The Role

As the Shift Engineer, your role will be to serve the needs of the business, our guests, and our colleagues by ensuring efficient and safe running of all hotel plants, machinery, equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and plumping systems.

As a member of the Engineering department, this role is responsible for ensuring that all the engineering and maintenance activities of the hotel are always conducted to the highest professional standards, with guest comfort and safety being the highest priority.

• Execute the daily work schedule, manage scheduled maintenance, and address guest requests and emergencies.
• Collaborate with other operational departments to enhance their performance.
• Inspect and maintain all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumping services such as air conditioning, water, and fire safety systems in the hotel to meet the necessary standards.
