Duties and Responsibilities

1. Provide IT technical support to assigned department/personnel.
2. Answer computer related problems from the users over the telephone.
3. Respond to user questions via email.
4. Create monthly metric charts of all the LAN/WAN and system problems.
5. Maintain/support email servers, remote access servers, web servers, proxy servers, and file servers.
6. Implement engineering changes for future improvements on LAN/WAN networks.
7. Update IT documentation as appropriate.
8. Provide OJT when required by management in accordance with appropriate training manuals.
9. Assist and train personnel in becoming proficient in the IT Platform Operations, Maintenance, Technical Support in accordance with manuals.

Qualification
The candidate shall have a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Science.

Experience
The candidate shall have a minimum of ten (10) years working experience in carrying out the following activities:

1. Planning, designing, configuring and testing of computer and networking hardware and software including operating systems.
2. Planning, designing, configuring, managing, and testing of data network and security including the VPN connectivity.
3. Providing tier 3 and 4 support to helpdesk.

Surveillance Systems & Network Engineer
to design, implement, and manage advanced
CCTV surveillance systems, Security Access Control Systems (SACS), and network infrastructure

This role requires a detail-oriented professional who ensures system reliability, compliance with regulations, and continuous improvement by staying updated with the latest industry advancements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement surveillance and access control solutions, including device selection and placement.
• Plan and configure network infrastructure to support surveillance and SACS (switches, routers, VLANs, cabling).
• Deploy and manage Video Management Systems (VMS) and SACS platforms.
• Design and implement storage solutions (NAS/NVR) with backup and redundancy.
• Integrate surveillance and access control with other security systems (alarms, analytics, etc.).
• Implement video analytics (motion detection, facial recognition, license plate recognition) and monitor access logs.
• Ensure system security through encryption, updates, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Conduct routine system maintenance and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements for surveillance and data privacy.
• Provide training and documentation for end-users and security staff.
• Manage project budgets, including procurement and maintenance costs.
• Support emergency response and incident management, providing video evidence when required.

Qualifications:

• Saudi nationality is required.
• Bachelor's degree in
  Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Network Engineering
  , or a related field.
• Minimum of
  4 years of hands-on experience
  in surveillance systems, access control, or network engineering.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, VLANs, Routing, Switching).
• Proven experience with CCTV, VMS, and SACS solutions.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals and data protection practices.
• Experience in system integration and project management.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES & FUNCTIONS

The role holder shall be based in the Technical Assistance Center (TAC) and shall perform level 3 Technical support activities in support of the three regional centers (RCCs). The role holder will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the network and providing the highest quality of services in accordance with contractual requirements within the scope of services. The prime objectives and functions of the role holder will include the following:

1. Responsible for providing Level 3 Technical Support for Motorola Dimetra Secure Mobile Radio (SMR) TETRA to the regional control centers (RCC) in order to maintain the integrity of the network.
2. Take lead role in supervision of RCC staff and FT's during major network incidents or investigations.
3. Implementations of company processes and procedures.
4. Carry out in-depth root cause analysis investigations for all SMR Major Services Outages (MSO) & network incidents.
5. Submit technical reports pertaining to major network incidents or investigations.
6. Deploy Kingdom-wide whenever instructed by Central Management to assist on major network incidents or projects.
7. Carry out level 2 multi-skilled on-the-job training (OJT) whenever required, for managed services field technicians.

RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION (Knowledge & Experience)

1. Preference given if educated to either:
   
   1. BSc/BEng with at least 3 years experience in multi-disciplined telecommunications environments or
   2. HND/HNC, with at least 5 years experience in multi-disciplined telecommunications environments or
   3. OEM training to advanced level, with at least 5 years experience in multi-disciplined telecommunications environments.
2. Must be able to demonstrate a sound working knowledge of the following disciplines:

5. Must be able to manage UNIX-Solaris and Windows Operating systems.
6. Must be IT competent with Microsoft Office programs.
7. Must possess good English verbal and writing skills.

9. Must possess a valid driving license from the country of origin and valid K.S.A license.
