Key Responsibilities
Monitor vital signs of neonates, including respiration, heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation.
Operate and maintain specialized medical equipment such as ventilators, incubators, and infusion pumps.
Administer medications, nutrition, and other prescribed treatments accurately and safely.
Record and update patient conditions in medical charts and electronic systems with high accuracy.
Respond promptly to any changes in patient condition and escalate critical cases to physicians.
Collaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and the healthcare team to deliver integrated care plans.
Educate and support families, providing guidance on infant care and preparing them for discharge.
Strictly adhere to infection control, patient safety protocols, and hospital policies.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
Professional License: Valid nursing license with current registration at the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of clinical experience in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
Skills:
Proficiency in neonatal critical care procedures and equipment.
Strong clinical observation, assessment, and emergency response skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to handle stressful situations and work flexible shifts.
Preferred Certifications:
