Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be expected to develop a strong and vibrant externally funded research program and establish an international reputation through publication, in addition to teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, directing graduate research, and supervising thesis projects.
Qualifications: Candidates must possess a doctoral degree from a reputable university with emphasis on socioeconomic, sustainability, environmental ethics, conservation, restoration, and ecology subjects. The successful candidate will have demonstrated success for high-quality research and scholarship. Research interests should complement and support programs, and candidates linking their research in environmental management to the exploration and development of hydrocarbon or mineral deposit resources are desired. Applicants should demonstrate a record of successful teaching and possess strong interpersonal, writing, and communication skills. The successful candidate must be highly motivated, technically proficient, and able to work independently but collaboratively with others.
